Abstract

Title: Performance Analysis of Unsignaled Intersection Traffic Flow and Road Section with IHCM Method 1997 (Case Study at Four arms Intersections Cendrawasih - Ki Hajar Dewantara - Menjangan – Merpati, South Tangerang). Name: Chairul Azis, NIM: 41114010111, Lecturer: Ir. Sylvia Indriany, M.T. The problems that are often encountered in the urban transportation system is the occurrence of traffic congestion on roads and conflicts at intersections, especially at the intersection of Cendrawasih - Ki Hajar Dewantara - Menjangan – Merpati, Tangerang Selatan. At this intersection often occurs traffic jam caused by the large volume of vehicles passing at intersections and segments are during rush hour and side obstacle activities such as in and out of vehicles that can inhibit the movement of traffic flow so it also affects the performance of the surrounding streets. The data needed in the process of performance analysis of intersection and road segment is primary data that is in the form of road geometric data, data of survey result of traffic volume and speed of the vehicle during rush hour. As well as secondary data in the form of maps of location and population. This research uses analysis procedure of intersection and urban road segment referring to (IHCM 1997). After the data of survey results in the field and the results of data analysis calculations performed, it is obtained the performance of intersections and road segment during rush hour, morning at 07.15 - 08.15 WIB, noon at 12:00 - 13:00 pm, and afternoon at 17:15 - 18:15 pm. The performance of intersections during the rush hours has a degree of saturation ranging from 0.67 to 0.92, delay <17 seconds or if assumed to be equivalent to a signal intersection having service level category B - C, supported by queue opportunity value 18 - 33%. While the performance of segment has a degree of saturation value ranges from 0.17 to 0.23, has a category of service A - B, the operational speed of approximately 36 km / hour, and the speed of the survey is ranging from 13 to 33 km / hour. Permasalahan yang sering ditemui pada sistem transportasi perkotaan adalah terjadinya kemacetan lalu lintas di ruas jalan dan konflik di persimpangan khususnya pada simpang tak bersinyal Jalan Cendrawasih – Jalan Ki Hajar Dewantara – Jalan Menjangan – Jalan Merpati, Tangerang Selatan. Pada simpang ini seringkali terjadi kemacetan lalu lintas yang disebabkan banyaknya volume kendaraan yang melintas di simpang dan ruas tersebut pada jam-jam sibuk serta aktivitas hambatan samping seperti keluar masuk kendaraan yang dapat menghambat pergerakan arus lalu lintas sehingga juga mempengaruhi kinerja ruas jalan disekitarnya. Data yang diperlukan dalam proses analisis kinerja simpang tak bersinyal dan ruas jalan adalah data primer yaitu berupa data geometrik jalan, data hasil survey volume lalu lintas dan kecepatan kendaraan pada jam - jam sibuk. Serta data sekunder berupa peta lokasi dan jumlah penduduk. Penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur analisis simpang dan ruas jalan perkotaan yang mengacu pada (MKJI 1997). Setelah data hasil survey di lapangan dan hasil perhitungan analisis data dilakukan, maka didapatkan kinerja simpang tak bersinyal dan ruas pada jam-jam sibuk pagi pukul 07.15 – 08.15 WIB, siang pukul 12.00 – 13.00 WIB, dan sore pukul 17.15 – 18.15 WIB. Kinerja simpang pada jam-jam sibuk tersebut memiliki nilai derajat kejenuhan berkisar 0,67 – 0,92, tundaan < 17 detik atau bila diasumsikan sama dengan simpang bersinyal memiliki tingkat pelayanan kategori B - C, didukung dengan nilai peluang antrian 18 – 33%. Sedangkan kinerja ruas memiliki nilai derajat kejenuhan berkisar 0,17 – 0,23, memiliki tingkat pelayanan kategori A – B, kecepatan operational kurang lebih 36 km/jam, serta kecepatan survey yaitu berkisar 13 – 33 km/jam.
