Abstract

The airport serves as a gateway as well as a symbol of a city, region and country. Not infrequently the design of the airport into the benchmarks of a region. The design of an airport is not enough just about iconic, but it also be able to fulfill it’s main non-negotiable function as a safety instrument, as well as convenience to the users and workers in it. The purpose of the design of this airport design is to design the circulation and the comfortable area of the building area to minimize the tired conditions to the distance traveled by walking in the building, designing a sustainable building for flexible, etc. The benefits of designing this airport is to contribute to the life of the city environment in the application of Green Architecture in the design of the airport. Icon on the building adopted by traditional building Alor then be modified / transfigured form in the building Airport and still apply the basic concept of the main theme of Green Architecture. Green Architecture theme / concept can respond to global warming that occurs in an environment where air quality decreases, this matter causing a change to the temperature, so the using needed of artificial energy becomes increasingly high intensity. Keywords: Airport, Green Architecture, Transfiguration Bandar udara berfungsi sebagai pintu gerbang sekaligus simbol suatu kota, daerah dan Negara. Tak jarang desain Bandar udara menjadi tolok ukur kemamuran suatu daerah. Desain sebuah bandar udara tidak cukup hanya ikonis, tetapi juga harus mampu memenuhi fungsi utamanya yang tidak dapat ditawar yaitu sebagai instrument keselamatan, juga kenyamanan baik kepada para pengguna maupun pekerja di dalamnya. Tujuan dari perancangan desain bandar udara ini adalah merancang sirkulasi dan kenyamanan area bangunan guna meminimalkan kondisi lelah terhadap jarak yang ditempuh dengan berjalan kaki, merancang bangunan yang sustainable agar fleksibel, dll. Adapun manfaat dari perancangan desain bandar udara adalah memberikan kontribusi dalam kehidupan lingkungan kota dalam penerapan arsitektur hijau didalam desain bandar udara. Icon pada bangunan menadopsi bangunan tradisional Alor yang mengalami modifikasi/transfigurasi bentuk pada bangunan Bandara serta tetap menerapkan konsep dasar utama yaitu Green Architecture. Tema / konsep Green Architecture dapat merespon terhadap pemanasan global yang terjadi pada lingkungan dimana kualitas udara semakin menurun, hal ini mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan suhu sehingga penggunaan energy buatan menjadi semakin meningkat intensitasnya.
