Abstract

The website LPTQ (Tilawatil Qur’an Development Institue) has guestbook feature so site visitors can input comments. Because there is no validation process in the website, visitors can post irrelevant comments. The author proposes a validation system that is supported by sms notification. The sms notification is meant to notify the administrator of LPTQ website, if there is any new posted comment and than he or she can check to validate the comment before it is published in the website. The author proposes web service sms gateway as an intermediary for the LPTQ website to send sms to the administrator. The guestbook application was developed with waterfall method and built by using PHP and MySQL. Keywords : Guest Book, Validation, SMS Gateway
