Abstract

Pembangunan gedung bertingkat tinggi yang pada saat ini telah terhubung kebanyakan tidak mempertimbangkan factor keselamatan lingkungan jika kondisi tersebut terjadi terus menerus maka nantinya akan berbahaya bagi keselamatan generasi mendatang. Salah satu reaksi dari krisis lingkungan adalah munculnya konsep sustainable design. Sustainable design sebagai bagian dari pembangunan berkelanjutan memperlihatkan keseimbangan tiga aspek, yaitu social, ekonomi, dan ekologi. Pada akhirnya perencanaan Gedung Lemhannas dengan menggunakan konsep sustainable ini diharapkan menjadi bentuk perhatian pemerintah terhadap keselamatan lingkungan, yang berguna bagi kita dan anak cucu kita.
