Abstract

Gudang / Store adalah tempat penyimpanan barang sementara. Secara ringkas sistem manajemen gudang mengandung pemahaman : pengelolaan dari aktifitas yang saling terkait dalam aktifitas penyimpanan barang sementara. Apa saja aktifitas penyimpanan barang itu ? Penerimaan barang, handling barang, pengeluaran barang ke tujuan adalah garis besar dari aktifitas penyimpanan. Di dalam sistem pergudangan barang perusahaan memiliki Inventory (persediaan) dengan tujuan untuk menjaga kelancaran usahanya. Bagi perusahaan, persediaan barang dagangan memungkinkan untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar. Di satu sisi persediaan yang tinggi memungkinkan perusahaan untuk memenuhi persediaan yang mendadak, akan tetapi, di sisi lain persediaan yang tinggi menyebabkan perusahaan memerlukan modal kerja yang makin besar pula. Untuk itu dibutuhkan pengelolaan terhadap persediaan barang. Bertitik tolak dari permasalahan diatas, maka penulis mencoba membuat suatu aplikasi Inventory multi store pada PT Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia dengan menggunakan Visual Basic.Net yang diharapkan nantinya dapat mempermudah dalam proses ataupun aktifitas pergudangan terutama dalam control stock barang di gudang. In summary contains an understanding of warehouse management systems: the management of inter-related activities in the Activity of temporary storage of goods. What are the activities of the storage stuff? Receipt of goods, handling of goods, expenditures to the destination is an outline of the activities of storage. In the system of warehousing goods company has Inventory (stock) in order to maintain the smooth running of their business. For companies, merchandise Inventory allows to meet the market demand. On the one hand, high Inventory allows the company to meet the sudden stock, but, on the other hand high Inventory is caused companies need working capital the greater. That requires management to Inventory . Based on the above issues, the author tries to make a multi-store Inventory application at PT Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia using Visual Basic.Net is expected to ease later in the process or warehousing activities, especially in the control stock of goods in the warehouse.
