Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of discipline and motivation on the performance of employees in the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Land Transportation. In a study conducted by distributing questionnaires to one hundred and twenty respondents. The research was conducted at the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Land Transportation, one of the unit echelon II at the Directorate General of Land Transportation, Ministry of Transportation, located in Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat No.8, Central Jakarta. The method used is associative and associative descriptive which is used to explain the influence of discipline on the performance, the effect of motivation on performance and influence with discipline and motivation on performance. Descriptive while to explain data that are nominal. Analysis of data collected descriptive test, a classic test of data, regression analysis with T and F tests and analysis of the relationship between dimensions. Results of data analysis showed that the variables of discipline and motivation variables significant positive effect on employee performance variables. Keyword: Discipline, Motivation, Performance Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa pengaruh disiplin dan motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai di Sekretariat Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Darat. Dalam penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner ke seratus dua puluh responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekretariat Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Darat, salah satu unit eselon II pada Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Darat Kementerian Perhubungan yang berlokasi di Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat No. 8 Jakarta Pusat. Metode yang digunakan yaitu asosiatif dan deskriptif dimana asosiatif digunakan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh antara disiplin terhadap kinerja, pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja serta pengaruh bersama disiplin dan motivasi terhadap kinerja. Sedangkan Deskriptif untuk memberikan penjelasan data yang bersifat nominal. Analisa data yang terkumpul dilakukan uji deskriptif, uji klasik data, analisa regresi dengan uji T dan F serta analisa hubungan antar dimensi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa variabel disiplin dan variabel motivasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai. Kata Kunci : Disiplin, Motivasi, Kinerja
