Abstract
Health and safety are factors that are considered in the modern industrial world, especially the international standard such as the drilling company. However, the rate of occupational accidents in the field remains frequent even there is a tendency to increase. The main purpose of this study was to find out what factors are most dominant on the level of occupational accidents in the PT. PDSI and attempt to overcome it. This research method using a literature approach and field. While the method used to use two approaches, namely statistical analysis (Factor Analysis) and descriptive analysis. The results showed that in the opinion of the respondent company's historical data and more work accident rates because of unsafe Act, it means that unsafe ACT has the highest potential for accidents, followed by the influence of job factors. Thirds unsafe condition is still part of the factors that lead to occupational injuries and the lowest is Personal Factors. In the effort to reduce the number of workplace accidents HSE management is advised to pay more attention to unsafe behavior, and enforcement of discipline in work.
