Abstract
This thesis aims to determine the effect of competence and motivation to work towards teacher performance SMK Budi Mulia Tangerang. The population of this study are all teachers SMK Budi Mulia. The samples used in this study is the method that is saturated sample the entire population of a member which will be observed as the sample of 57 teachers. The research variables are competence, motivation and job performance of teachers.The study was conducted at SMK Budi Mulia by using descriptive analysis with data collection through questionnaire with Likert method and observations to the teacher. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the competences and motivation of teachers working partially or simultaneously positive effect on teacher performance. Key words: Teacher Competence, Work Motivation, Teacher Performance Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMK Budi Mulia Tangerang. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMK Budi Mulia. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode sampel jenuh yaitu seluruh populasi menjadi anggota yang akan diamati sebagai sampel yang berjumlah 57 guru. Variabel penelitian adalah kompetensi, motivasi kerja dan kinerja guru. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK Budi Mulia dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuisoner dengan metode skala likert dan observasi kepada guru. Pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru dan motivasi kerja secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh posistif terhadap kinerja guru. Kata Kunci : Kompetensi Guru, Motivasi Kerja, Kinerja Guru.
