Abstract
Bank Syariah Mandiri is an Islamic Bank that established a year after economy crisis in 1998. They provide Islamic economy in their system and products which are free from interest, speculation, and anything forbidden in Islamic religion. These visions bring them to be one of the biggest Islamic bank in Indonesia. This achievement must be hold and followed by keep improving their performance especially on their Human Resource. There are already some researches have been conducted to study the influence of employee performance, in training, spiritual quotient, and motivation. Unfortunately those researches have been concluded various results. In addition, it needs a study to reexamine the influence of those variables with employee performance. The problems raised in this study are (1) The influence of training on employee performance, (2) The influence of spiritual quotient on employee performance, (3) The influence of motivation on employee performance, and (4) the influence of training, spiritual quotient and motivation together with employee performance. This study has been conducted in Bank Syariah Mandiri branch Bintaro. Observation, Questionnaires, and Interview were used as a tool in data collection method. The technique to analyze data in this study is multiple regression analysis. The findings showed that Spiritual Quotient and motivation hypothesis were proved to be significant but less for training. However, training, spiritual quotient, and motivation have a positive and significant influence with employee performance in Bank Syariah Mandiri. These implies that training, spiritual quotient and motivation have a role (individually and simultaneously) in developing employee performance. Keywords: Training, Spiritual Quotient, Motivation and Performace of employee. Bank Syariah Mandiri adalah bank Islam yang berdiri setahun setelah krisis ekonomi di tahun 1998. Mereka menyediakan ekonomi Islam pada sistem dan produk mereka di mana tidak ada di dalamnya bunga bank, spekulasi dansegala hal yang diharamkan dalam agama Islam. Visi ini kemudian membawa mereka menjadi salah satu bank Syariah terbesar di Indonesia. Prestasi ini harus dipertahankan dan diikuti dengan meningkatkan kinerja mereka terutama dalam sumber daya manusiannya. Sudah ada beberapa peneliti yang meneliti akan pengaruh pada kinerja karyawan dari pelatihan, kecerdasan spiritual dan motivasi. Sayangnya, penelitian tersebut memberikan hasil yang berbeda-beda. Sehingga di butuhkan study yang menguji kembali variable-variabel tersebut. Permasalahan yang penulis ajukan dalam penelitian ini ialah : (1) pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) Pengaruh kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kinerja karyawan, (3) Pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan, (4) Pengaruh pelatihan, kecerdasan spiritual, dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan secara bersamaan. Penelitian ini berlokasi pada Bank Syariah Mandiri cabang Bintaro. Observasi, quesionair dan wawancara digunakan sebagai metode pengumpul data. Sementara tehnik untuk menganalisa menggunakan analisi regresi berganda. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari kecerdasan spiritual dan motivasi tapi tidak untuk pelatihan. Meskipun demikian pelatihan, kecerdasan spiritual dan motivasi memberikan pengaruh yang positif. Ini mengimplikasikan bahwa pelatihan, kecerdasan spiritual dan motivasi memiliki peranan (individual dan simultan) dalam mengembangkan kinerja karyawan.
