Abstract

The drainage system on Jalan KP. Gaga, Semanan Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta, still experiences inundation during high-intensity rainfall. This condition is considered to be influenced not only by runoff discharge but also by the physical condition of the drainage channel and sedimentation, which reduces the effective flow cross-section. This study aims to analyze rainfall characteristics, determine the design flood discharge using the Rational Method, evaluate the capacity of the existing drainage channel using Manning's Equation, and determine appropriate recommendations for addressing sedimentation problems. Annual maximum daily rainfall data from three rainfall stations, namely Cengkareng Drain, Kedoya, and Cipondoh, were tested for consistency using the Double Mass Curve method, resulting in an R² value of 0.9973. Frequency analysis indicated that the Gumbel distribution was suitable, with a 10-year return period design rainfall of 152,27 mm. The design flood discharge was calculated using the Rational Method with a runoff coefficient of 0.70 and a time of concentration of 0.263 hours. Field measurements and Manning's Equation analysis resulted in an existing drainage channel capacity of 0.482 m³/s. The evaluation indicates that the existing channel capacity is still adequate to accommodate the design flood discharge; however, the channel performance in the field is not optimal due to substantial sedimentation, which reduces the effective flow cross-section and contributes to inundation. The recommended treatment is channel normalization through sediment dredging until the channel bed is restored to its original condition. The calculation results after normalization indicate that the channel capacity increases to 1.5232 m³/s, allowing it to adequately accommodate the design flood discharge. Channel normalization should be accompanied by periodic maintenance to control sedimentation and maintain the performance of the drainage system. Gaga, Kelurahan Semanan, Kecamatan Kalideres, Jakarta Barat masih mengalami genangan pada saat hujan dengan intensitas tinggi. Kondisi tersebut diduga tidak hanya berkaitan dengan debit limpasan, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh kondisi fisik saluran dan sedimentasi yang mengurangi penampang efektif saluran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik curah hujan, menentukan debit hujan rencana menggunakan Metode Rasional, mengevaluasi kapasitas saluran drainase eksisting menggunakan Persamaan Manning, serta menentukan rekomendasi penanganan terhadap permasalahan sedimentasi. Data curah hujan harian maksimum tahunan dari tiga stasiun hujan, yaitu Cengkareng Drain, Kedoya, dan Cipondoh, diuji konsistensinya menggunakan metode Double Mass Curve dan diperoleh nilai R² sebesar 0,9973. Analisis frekuensi menunjukkan distribusi Gumbel merupakan distribusi yang sesuai, dengan curah hujan rencana periode ulang 10 tahun sebesar 152,27 mm. Debit hujan rencana dihitung menggunakan Metode Rasional dengan koefisien limpasan sebesar 0,70 dan waktu konsentrasi 0,263 jam. Hasil pengukuran dan analisis Persamaan Manning menunjukkan kapasitas saluran eksisting sebesar 0,482 m³/detik. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas saluran eksisting masih memenuhi debit hujan rencana, namun kondisi saluran di lapangan belum optimal akibat sedimentasi yang cukup tinggi sehingga mengurangi penampang efektif aliran dan berkontribusi terhadap terjadinya genangan. Penanganan yang direkomendasikan adalah normalisasi melalui pengerukan sedimen hingga dasar saluran kembali pada kondisi semula. Hasil perhitungan setelah normalisasi menunjukkan kapasitas saluran meningkat menjadi 1,5232 m³/detik sehingga mampu memenuhi debit hujan rencana. Normalisasi perlu disertai pemeliharaan berkala untuk mengendalikan sedimentasi dan mempertahankan kinerja sistem drainase.
