Abstract
Warehouse Gamalea Hijab is a Muslim fashion business facing inventory control problems, including an imbalance between incoming and outgoing goods across many SKUs and the absence of an optimal order quantity, which creates the risk of stock excess or shortage and high holding costs. This study aims to determine the optimal product order quantity and compare the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Period Order Quantity (POQ), and Min-Max methods to improve inventory cost efficiency. A quantitative approach was used, employing incoming, outgoing, and stock data for the 2024–2025 period. Data processing involved ABC Analysis, EOQ, Safety Stock, Reorder Point, Total Inventory Cost, POQ, and Min-Max calculations. The ABC Analysis results show that of 1,552 active SKUs, 301 SKUs (19.4%) fall into Category A and contribute 70% of total demand. EOQ calculations for the ten priority products yield an optimal order quantity of 26–42 units, Safety Stock of 2–5 units, and a Reorder Point of 6–16 units. POQ results indicate an ordering interval of one to two months, while the Min-Max method sets a minimum limit of 6–16 units and a maximum of 32–58 units. Applying EOQ reduces Total Inventory Cost by 29.41%, equivalent to Rp 3,883,551 per year. The three methods prove complementary and can be applied in an integrated manner to optimize inventory control at Warehouse Gamalea Hijab. Keywords: Inventory Control, EOQ, POQ, Min-Max, Cost Efficiency Warehouse Gamalea Hijab merupakan usaha fashion muslim yang menghadapi permasalahan pengendalian persediaan, yaitu ketidakseimbangan antara jumlah barang masuk dan barang keluar pada banyak SKU, serta belum adanya penentuan jumlah pemesanan yang optimal, sehingga menimbulkan risiko kelebihan maupun kekurangan stok dan tingginya biaya penyimpanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan produk yang optimal serta membandingkan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Period Order Quantity (POQ), dan Min-Max guna meningkatkan efisiensi biaya persediaan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data barang masuk, barang keluar, dan stok produk periode 2024–2025. Pengolahan data dilakukan melalui Analisis ABC, perhitungan EOQ, Safety Stock, Reorder Point, Total Inventory Cost, POQ, dan Min-Max. Hasil Analisis ABC menunjukkan dari 1.552 SKU aktif, terdapat 301 SKU (19,4%) Kategori A yang menyumbang 70% total permintaan. Perhitungan EOQ untuk 10 produk prioritas menghasilkan jumlah pemesanan optimal 26–42 unit, Safety Stock 2–5 unit, dan Reorder Point 6–16 unit. POQ menunjukkan interval pemesanan 1–2 bulan, sedangkan Min-Max menetapkan batas minimum 6-16 unit dan maksimum 32–58 unit. Penerapan EOQ mampu menghemat Total Inventory Cost sebesar 29,41% atau setara Rp 3.883.551 per tahun. Ketiga metode terbukti saling melengkapi dan dapat diterapkan secara terintegrasi untuk mengoptimalkan pengendalian persediaan pada warehouse Gamalea Hijab.
