Abstract
Pembelajaran diferensiasi merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyesuaikan proses belajar dengan kemampuan, kebutuhan, dan gaya belajar peserta didik, khususnya pelajar disabilitas tunarungu yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam akses komunikasi. Pendekatan ini menuntut strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif melalui komunikasi pedagogik agar kemampuan akademik pelajar dapat berkembang secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran diferensiasi terhadap kemampuan akademik pelajar disabilitas tunarungu di SMALB Negeri 01 Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma positivisme dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode survei. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 28 pelajar disabilitas tunarungu dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel melalui teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner, sedangkan analisis data meliputi uji validitas, reliabilitas, regresi linear sederhana, uji t, uji f, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran diferensiasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan akademik pelajar disabilitas tunarungu. Nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,631 menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 2,7%. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran diferensiasi melalui komunikasi pedagogik berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan akademik pelajar disabilitas tunarungu. Differentiated learning is an instructional approach that adapts the learning process to students’ abilities, needs, and learning styles, particularly for deaf students who face limitations in communication access. This approach requires adaptive pedagogical communication to support the optimal development of students’ academic abilities. This study aims to examine the effect of differentiated learning on the academic abilities of deaf students at SMALB Negeri 01 Jakarta Selatan. This research employs a positivist paradigm with a quantitative approach and a survey method. The population consisted of 28 deaf students, all of whom were included as research samples using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, while data analysis techniques included validity and reliability tests, simple linear regression, t-test, f-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that differentiated learning has a positive and significant effect on the academic abilities of deaf students. The regression coefficient value of 0.631 shows a positive influence, while the coefficient of determination (R²) of 2.7% indicates that differentiated learning contributes to students’ academic abilities, although other factors outside the study also play a role. Therefore, differentiated learning through pedagogical communication contributes to improving the academic abilities of deaf students.
