Abstract
This study aimed to examine the influence of body awareness and learning agility on employee performance among working students. Body awareness was defined as an individual's capacity to consciously detect and process internal bodily sensations, while learning agility referred to the ability and willingness to learn from experiences and adapt to new situations. Employee performance was operationalized as individual behavior relevant to organizational goals, encompassing task performance, Contextual performance, and Counterproductive work behavior dimensions. The research sample consisted of 259 working students selected through Accidental sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS 26 software. Results indicated that body awareness did not significantly influence employee performance partially (β = 0.109; p = 0.102 > 0.05), whereas learning agility demonstrated a significant positive effect (β = 0.319; p = 0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables significantly affected performance (F = 22.298; p = 0.000) with a combined contribution of 14.8%. Correlation analysis between dimensions revealed that attention regulation from body awareness and Developing systematically from learning agility showed strong correlations with Contextual performance. These findings indicate that among working students facing dual cognitive demands from academic and professional roles, learning agility, particularly the ability to systematize learning processes, is more crucial in supporting optimal performance compared to general body awareness. Nevertheless, both constructs operate synergistically through Bottom-up and Top-down mechanisms in managing personal resources when confronting dual role pressures. The research contributes to organizational psychology by demonstrating how cognitive adaptability outweighs physical awareness as a performance predictor in cognitively demanding dual-role contexts. Keywords: body awareness, learning agility, employee performance, working students, organizational psychology Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh body awareness dan learning agility terhadap kinerja karyawan pada pekerja yang kuliah. Body awareness didefinisikan sebagai kapasitas individu untuk mendeteksi dan memproses sensasi internal tubuh secara sadar (Mehling et al., 2009), sedangkan learning agility merupakan kemampuan dan kemauan individu untuk belajar dari pengalaman serta beradaptasi dalam situasi baru (Bouland-van Dam et al., 2022). Kinerja karyawan dioperasionalisasikan sebagai perilaku individu yang relevan terhadap tujuan organisasi, mencakup dimensi tugas, kontekstual, dan perilaku kontraproduktif (Koopmans et al., 2011). Sampel penelitian berjumlah 259 responden pekerja yang kuliah yang dipilih melalui teknik Accidental sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program IBM SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa body awareness tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan (β = 0,109; p = 0,102 > 0,05), sedangkan learning agility berpengaruh positif signifikan (β = 0,319; p = 0,000 < 0,05). Secara simultan, kedua variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja (F = 22,298; p = 0,000) dengan kontribusi gabungan 14,8%. Analisis korelasi antardimensi mengungkapkan dimensi attention regulation (body awareness) dan Developing systematically (learning agility) memiliki korelasi kuat dengan kinerja kontekstual. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pada populasi pekerja yang kuliah yang menghadapi dominasi tuntutan kognitif ganda, learning agility khususnya kemampuan sistematisasi pembelajaran lebih krusial dalam mendukung kinerja optimal dibandingkan kesadaran tubuh secara umum, meskipun keduanya beroperasi secara sinergis melalui mekanisme Bottom-up dan Top-down dalam mengelola sumber daya menghadapi tekanan peran ganda.
