Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work stress on employee job satisfaction at Hotel "AI" Bekasi, considering the mediating roles of Work-Life Balance and Job Insecurity. The research employs the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with 125 employee respondents. The findings indicate that work stress has a significant negative effect on Work-Life Balance and job satisfaction, as well as a significant positive effect on Job Insecurity. Furthermore, Work-Life Balance positively influences job satisfaction, while Job Insecurity negatively affects job satisfaction. Mediation analysis reveals that Work-Life Balance and Job Insecurity mediate the relationship between work stress and job satisfaction. The study implications highlight the importance of stress management policies and Work-Life Balance programs to enhance employee job satisfaction. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di Hotel "AI" Bekasi dengan mempertimbangkan peran mediasi Work-Life Balance dan Job Insecurity. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 125 karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja memiliki pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap Work-Life Balance dan kepuasan kerja, serta pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Job Insecurity. Selain itu, Work-Life Balance memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, sedangkan Job Insecurity berpengaruh negatif terhadap kepuasan kerja. Pengujian mediasi menunjukkan bahwa Work-Life Balance dan Job Insecurity memediasi hubungan antara stres kerja dan kepuasan kerja. Implikasi penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya kebijakan pengelolaan stres kerja dan program keseimbangan kerja-kehidupan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan.
