Abstract
The documentary film Banjarnegara Punya Poci, Tegal Punya Nama tells the story of the traditional pottery-making process in Klampok Village, Banjarnegara, which is actually the main producer of poci teapots, although many people associate them with Tegal. Through this film, the author wants to highlight the real origin of the famous poci tradition. In this final project, the author acts as the video editor, responsible for arranging the footage into a coherent and easy-tounderstand storyline. The editing technique used is continuity editing, applying several methods such as cut in, crosscutting, POV cutting, transitions, speed motion, color grading, and audio mixing to keep the visuals smooth and enjoyable to watch. This documentary is presented in an expository style, combining narration, images, and sound in a compelling way. Besides documenting local culture, the film also functions as an educational and promotional tool to introduce Banjarnegara's ceramic craftsmanship to a wider audience. The goal is to raise awareness and appreciation for local handmade products that have strong cultural and economic value. Film dokumenter Banjarnegara Punya Poci, Tegal Punya Nama ini bercerita tentang proses pembuatan keramik poci di Desa Klampok, Banjarnegara, yang selama ini justru lebih dikenal masyarakat berasal dari Tegal. Lewat dokumenter ini, penulis ingin menunjukkan bahwa Banjarnegara adalah pusat produksi poci yang sesungguhnya. Dalam tugas akhir ini, penulis berperan sebagai editor yang bertanggung jawab menyusun footage menjadi alur cerita yang runut dan mudah dipahami. Teknik yang digunakan dalam proses editing adalah continuity editing, dengan memanfaatkan berbagai metode seperti cut in, crosscutting, POV cutting, transisi, speed motion, color grading, hingga mixing audio. Tujuannya untuk visualnya tetap menyambung dan nyaman untuk ditonton. Film ini dikemas dalam gaya ekspositori dengan narasi, gambar, dan suara yang disusun secara menarik. Selain menjadi media dokumentasi budaya, film ini juga jadi alat edukasi dan promosi kerajinan lokal supaya lebih dikenal dan dihargai. Harapannya, dokumenter ini bisa membuka mata masyarakat bahwa produk lokal seperti keramik poci Banjarnegara punya potensi besar untuk dikenal lebih luas.
