Abstract
The creative industry, particularly Event Organizers (EO), is rapidly developing in response to the evolving entertainment needs of the younger generation. Party at The South (P.A.T.S) is a non-formal EO active in the creative events sector, characterized by flexible and adaptive communication patterns. This study aims to identify and analyze the communication patterns formed within P.A.T.S and how these patterns support smooth and successful event execution. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method through in-depth interviews with three key informants: the Public Relations Promoter, Social Media Officer, and Event Planner. The findings reveal that P.A.T.S utilizes various communication patterns such as circle, wheel, Y, chain, and all-channel, operating dynamically in accordance with work demands and event phases. This blend of formal and informal communication effectively accelerates coordination, prevents miscommunication, and strengthens social cohesion among members. In conclusion, the flexibility and diversity of communication patterns are key factors behind P.A.T.S’ success in the creative industry. Industri kreatif, khususnya Event Organizer (EO), mengalami perkembangan pesat seiring dengan kebutuhan hiburan bagi generasi muda yang terus berubah. Party at The South (P.A.T.S) merupakan salah satu EO non-formal yang bergerak di bidang event kreatif dengan karakter komunikasi yang fleksibel dan adaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pola komunikasi yang terbentuk dalam organisasi EO P.A.T.S serta bagaimana pola tersebut mendukung kelancaran dan keberhasilan penyelenggaraan acara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga informan utama, yaitu Promotor Public Relations, Social Media Officer, dan Event Planner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa P.A.T.S menggunakan berbagai pola komunikasi seperti lingkaran, roda, Y, rantai, dan semua saluran yang berjalan dinamis sesuai kebutuhan kerja dan fase acara. Pola komunikasi yang menggabungkan cara formal dan informal ini mampu mempercepat koordinasi, menghindari miskomunikasi, serta memperkuat kohesi sosial antar anggota. Kesimpulannya, fleksibilitas dan keberagaman pola komunikasi menjadi faktor utama keberhasilan P.A.T.S dalam industri kreatif.
