Abstract

The media and entertainment sub-sector is part of the creative industry which is experiencing rapid development along with technological advances and changes in consumer preferences, creating intense competition among business actors in this field. The phenomenon of decreasing stock returns in 2022 to 2023 is an indicator of a mismatch between industry growth and investor response. This is a phenomenon and interesting to study. This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity, solvency, activity, and company size on firm value. The population in this study is the media and entertainment sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023, totaling 7 companies in accordance with the specified characteristics. In this study, the design used is causality with a saturated sample, covering 7 companies and the analysis method used is panel data regression. The results showed that the variables of liquidity, solvency, and activity had no effect on firm value while the firm size variable had a positive and significant effect on firm value. Sub sektor media dan entertainment merupakan bagian dari industri kreatif yang mengalami perkembangan pesat seiring kemajuan teknologi dan perubahan preferensi konsumen sehingga menciptakan persaingan yang ketat di antara pelaku usaha di bidang ini. Fenomena penurunan return saham pada tahun 2022 hingga 2023 menjadi indikator ketidaksesuaian antara pertumbuhan industri dan respon investor. Hal ini menjadi fenomena dan menarik untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh likuiditas, solvabilitas, aktivitas, dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah sub sektor media dan entertainment yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2019-2023 yang berjumlah 7 perusahaan sesuai dengan karakteristik yang ditetapkan. Dalam penelitian ini, desain yang digunakan adalah kausalitas dengan sampel yang diambil secara jenuh, mencakup 7 perusahaan dan metode analisis yang dipakai adalah regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan variabel likuiditas, solvabilitas, dan aktivitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan sedangkan variabel ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kata Kunci: likuiditas, solvabilitas, aktivitas, ukuran perusahaan, nilai perusahaan.
