Abstract
This study aims to test and analyze the influence of career development and work-life balance on turnover intention with employee job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The population in this study was 54 employees (salespersons) of PT. Fajar Toserba Cahaya Cemerlang Cabang Mandalajaya as a sample calculated using the saturated sampling method (taking the entire population). The data collection method used a survey method, with a questionnaire as the research instrument. The data analysis method used Partial Least Square. This study proves that career development has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Career development has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Career development has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention mediated by job satisfaction. Work-life balance has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention mediated by job satisfaction. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh pengembangan karir dan work-life balance terhadap turnover intention dengan kepuasan kerja karyawan sebagai variabel mediasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 54 karyawan (pramuniaga) PT. Fajar Toserba Cahaya Cemerlang Cabang Mandalajaya sebagai sampel yang dihitung menggunakan metode penarikan sampel jenuh (mengambil keseluruhan populasi). Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey, dengan instrumen penelitian adalah kuesioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pengembangan karir berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Work-life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Work-life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Pengembangan karir berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention yang dimediasi kepuasan kerja. Work-life balance berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention yang dimediasi kepuasan kerja.
