Abstract

Kolaborasi adalah proses yang mendasar dari bentuk kerjasama yang melahirkan kepercayaan, integritas dan terobosan melalui keterpaduan pada semua aspek organisasi. Dalam lingkup perusahaan, kolaborasi tidak akan dapat berjalan dengan baik tanpa adanya komunikasi yang terjalin antar anggota perseroan. Perkembangan teknologi, khususnya teknologi smartphone, dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan komunikasi dan kolaborasi yang efektif dan efisien pada institusi perseroan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan solusi aplikasi enterprise collaboration platform berbasis Android yang akan diterapkan sebagai sarana kolaborasi yang cepat, hemat, dan efektif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan studi literatur dan observasi langsung terhadap anggota perseroan, sedangkan aplikasi dikembangkan berdasarkan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak Extreme Programming (XP) yang terdiri dari fase planning, designing, coding, dan testing. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi enterprise collaboration platform bernama Whizzle berbasis protokol MQTT pada platform Android yang memiliki fitur news feed, library, system notification, personal chat, dan team collaboration berupa pinboard dan team conversation. Simpulan yang diperoleh adalah aplikasi dapat membantu dan mempermudah proses kolaborasi di dalam lingkup internal perusahaan.Kata kunci: Enterprise Collaboration Platform, android, mqtt, komunikasi, kolaborasi Collaboration is the fundamental process of teamwork that involve trust, integrity and innovation through integration in all aspects of the organization. In the enterprise scope, collaboration will never works without an intens communication between members of the company. Technological advancements, especially in smartphone technology, can be utilized to meet the needs of the effective and efficient communication and collaboration within the company. This research aims to produce an Android based enterprise collaboration platform to be applied as a fast, economic, and effective collaboration medium. Research done by literature study and direct observation to the employees, while the application is developed based on Extreme Programming (XP) software development method which consists of planning, designing, coding, and testing phase. The results obtained from this study is an Android and MQTT based enterprise collaboration platform named Whizzle that features a news feed, library, system notification, personal chat, and team collaboration in the form of a pinboard and team conversations.
