Abstract
This study aims to examine the influence of teacher-student relationships on the Well-Being of preschool children aged 4-6 years from the teacher’s perspective. The study involved 26 kindergarten teachers who assessed the Well-Being of 203 preschool children drom 9 kindergarten in the West Jakarta area. The instruments used were the Student-Teacher Relationship Scale (STRS) and the preschool children’s Well-Being scale developed by Dearly (2020). A quantitaive research approach was applied, with simple linear regression used as the data analysis technique.. The sample was selected using a non-probability sampling method with an incidental sampling technique. The results showed a positive and significant influence of teacher-student relationships on the Well-Being of preschool children, with a regression coefficient of 0.405 and a significant level of <.001. The coefficient of determination (R2 ) was 0.109, indicating that 10.9% of the variation in Well-Being could be explained by the teacher-student relationship, while the rest was influenced by other unexamined variables. Keywords: Teacher-Student Relationship, Well-Being, Preschool Children, Teacher’s Perspective Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji pengaruh relasi guru-murid terhadap Well-Being anak prasekolah usia 4-6 tahun ditinjau dari perspektif guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 26 guru yang menilai Well-Being 203 anak prasekolah di 9 TK di wilayah Jakarta Barat. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Student-Teacher Relationship Scale (STRS) dan skala Well-Being anak prasekolah yang dikembangkan oleh Dearly (2020). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data regresi linear sederhana. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan teknik incidental sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara relasi guru-murid dengan WellBeing anak prasekolah usia 4-6 tahun dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0.405 dan signifikansi <.001. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R2 ) sebesar 0.109 menunjukkan bahwa 10.9% variasi Well-Being dapat dijelaskan oleh relasi guru-murid dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.
