Abstract
In the evaluation planning of diaphragm wall design at the Mass Rapid Transit City station, it is used for subway construction because it is one of the best innovations to overcome land limitation issues. Therefore, the objective of this study is to plan a retaining wall design that can withstand lateral pressure and deformation in accordance with the national standard limits. In this planning, Rankine's Theory is used to assess the stability of the wall against lateral soil pressure during the construction of the retaining wall. In this study, the diaphragm wall height was determined to be 39 m, which is sufficient to withstand pressure and seepage. Subsequently, modeling was conducted using Plaxis software, where the total deformation obtained at the final phase—the installation of strut 3 at an elevation of -23 m—was controlled with a maximum heave value of 18.8 mm and settlement of -16.1 mm. The deformation value obtained was 0.067%, which is smaller than the allowable limit of 0.5%. Therefore, no extreme deformation was found, indicating that the design of the wall and the stability of the excavation are adequate, along with the soil parameters and boundaries. Keywords: Lateral Pressure, Excavation Stability, Diaphragm Wall, Safety Factor, Deformation Dalam perencanaan evaluasi pada desain dinding diafragma atau Diaphragm Wall pada stasiun Mass Rapid Transit Kota digunakan untuk pembangunan kereta bawah tanah karena salah satu inovasi terbaik untuk mengatasi masalah keterbatasan lahan.
