Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in the IKN State Palace construction project in Penajam Paser Utara, with a focus on Clash detection analysis which aims to optimize the construction process and analyze potential cost expenditures, such as on brick wall and plastering work. The focus of this research is to minimize the addition of unnecessary materials and services, which should be avoided by utilizing AR and Building information modeling (BIM) technology. It is hoped that this technology can overcome common problems in large-scale construction projects and improve the quality of the final result. The State Palace construction project faced several major challenges, namely the mismatch between design and field conditions, which often led to construction errors and increased costs. The limitation of accurate visualization due to the use of conventional technology hampers the efficiency of project management. This research uses a quantitative analysis method with data obtained from the calculation of Quantity TakeOff (QTO) on plan drawings and the results of Clash detection analysis on the BIM model applied in the project. The results showed that the application of AR and BIM technology was able to identify potential construction errors earlier, which significantly reduced costs associated with repeated work and design discrepancies. In the Clash detection analysis, there is a cost difference of Rp 2,861,839,855, or about 10-11% of the total work cost of the main lobby area, which can be avoided if this technology is applied more optimally. In addition, the application of AR is also proven to reduce construction errors by 10-15%, increase coordination between teams, and improve communication in the project. Keywords: Augmented Realty (AR), Building Information Modeling (BIM), Gamma AR, Autodesk Revit, 3D Model, Clash Detection Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) pada proyek pembangunan Istana Negara IKN di Penajam Paser Utara, dengan fokus pada analisis Clash detection yang bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan proses konstruksi serta menganalisis potensi pengeluaran biaya, seperti pada pekerjaan dinding bata dan plesteran. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk meminimalisir penambahan material dan jasa yang tidak perlu, yang seharusnya dapat dihindari dengan pemanfaatan teknologi AR dan Building information modeling (BIM). Diharapkan, teknologi ini dapat mengatasi masalah umum dalam proyek konstruksi berskala besar serta meningkatkan kualitas hasil akhir. Proyek pembangunan Istana Negara menghadapi beberapa tantangan utama, yaitu ketidaksesuaian antara desain dan kondisi lapangan, yang sering memicu kesalahan konstruksi dan peningkatan biaya. Keterbatasan visualisasi yang akurat akibat penggunaan teknologi konvensional menjadi penghambat efisiensi pengelolaan proyek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif dengan data yang diperoleh dari perhitungan Quantity Take-Off (QTO) pada gambar rencana dan hasil analisis Clash detection pada model BIM yang diterapkan dalam proyek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi AR dan BIM mampu mengidentifikasi potensi kesalahan konstruksi lebih awal, yang secara signifikan mengurangi biaya yang berhubungan dengan pekerjaan berulang dan ketidaksesuaian desain. Dalam analisis Clash detection, terdapat selisih biaya sebesar Rp 2.861.839.855, atau sekitar 10-11% dari total biaya pekerjaan area lobby utama, yang dapat dihindari jika teknologi ini diterapkan lebih maksimal. Selain itu, penerapan AR juga terbukti mengurangi kesalahan konstruksi hingga 10-15%, meningkatkan koordinasi antar tim, dan memperbaiki komunikasi dalam proyek.
