Abstract
Instagram is one of the social media that gives rise to many content creators who upload content to build engagement with followers. This study aims to analyze the content of @rans.entertainment Instagram content in building engagement with followers. The theory used in this research is Evans & Mckee's theory regarding the 4 stages of engagement which include consumption, curation, creation, and collaboration. The method used is qualitative content analysis using the constructivism paradigm. The collection techniques used were observation, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the engagement of @rans.entertainment followers is formed through content that is relatable, entertaining, and interactive. Followers tend to be emotionally and actively involved, both through passive consumption to direct participation, which reflects the success of the account in building connections and follower engagement. Keywords : content analysis, instagram, engagement, followers, @rans.entertainment Instagram yaitu salah satu media sosial yang memunculkan banyaknya content creator yang mengunggah konten untuk membangun engagement dengan followers. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menganalisis isi konten Instagram @rans.entertainment dalam membangun engagement dengan followers. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini teori milik Evans & Mckee mengenai 4 tahap engagement yang meliputi consumption, curation, creation, dan collaboration. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi kualitatif menggunakan paradigma kontruktivisme. Teknik pengumpulan yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa engagement followers @rans.entertainment terbentuk melalui konten-konten yang bersifat relatable, menghibur, dan interaktif. Followers cenderung terlibat secara emosional maupun aktif, baik melalui konsumsi pasif hingga partisipasi langsung, yang mencerminkan keberhasilan akun dalam membangun koneksi dan keterlibatan followers.
