Abstract
High-rise building construction projects including architectural and other structures are increasingly being built in Tangerang City. As a result they are prone to various risks. Failure of any of these projects is very costly. Thus the need to minimize risk is necessary. The objective of this study is to examine the impact of profitability, human resources, project management and quality analysis on the risk of failure in projects through SEM-PLS and IPMA techniques. SEM-PLS technique is adopted to estimate the relationship between latent constructs such as profitability analysis, human resources, project management and quality with the probability of project failure. On the other hand, IPMA helps in determining the areas that require improvement in performance indicators to lower the risk level. Kata Kunci: project failure risk, SEM-PLS, IPMA, high-rise building Proyek-proyek konstruksi gedung bertingkat termasuk arsitektur dan struktur lainnya semakin banyak dibangun di Kota Tangerang. Akibatnya mereka rentan terhadap berbagai risiko. Kegagalan salah satu dari proyek-proyek ini sangat mahal. Dengan demikian kebutuhan untuk meminimalkan risiko sangatlah diperlukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dampak dari sumber daya manusia, manajemen proyek dan kualitas terhadap risiko kegagalan pada proyek-proyek melalui teknik SEM-PLS dan IPMA. Teknik SEM-PLS diadopsi untuk memperkirakan hubungan antara konstruk laten seperti sumber daya manusia, manajemen proyek dan kualitas dengan probabilitas kegagalan proyek. Di sisi lain, IPMA membantu dalam penentuan area yang membutuhkan perbaikan pada indikator kinerja untuk menurunkan tingkat risiko.
