Abstract
This final project presents the design of an educational media in the form of motion graphics aimed at introducing the fundamentals of stock investment to young people aged 17–27. The background of this project is rooted in the low investment literacy among youth and the rising trend of negative financial behaviors such as online gambling and FOMO. The educational media employs a dynamic visual style, a digital wallet mascot as the narrator, and a friendly communication tone that is easy to understand. The design process includes observation, content analysis, expert interviews, and design testing through exhibitions and audience surveys. The test results indicate that the media effectively improves audience understanding of stock investment, sparks interest in learning more, and emphasizes the message that investing is not the same as gambling. Through a visual, narrative-driven, and relatable approach tailored to modern youth lifestyles, this work aims to serve as an effective and relevant alternative for financial education. Keywords: stock education, youth, motion graphics, financial literacy, educational media Tugas Akhir ini merancang media edukasi dalam bentuk motion graphic yang bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dasar-dasar investasi saham kepada generasi muda usia 17–27 tahun. Latar belakang perancangan ini berangkat dari rendahnya literasi investasi di kalangan anak muda serta meningkatnya tren negatif seperti judi online dan FOMO dalam keuangan digital. Media edukasi ini menggunakan pendekatan visual yang dinamis, maskot naratif berupa dompet digital, serta gaya komunikasi yang ringan dan mudah dipahami. Proses perancangan melalui tahapan observasi, analisis konten, wawancara pakar, serta pengujian desain melalui pameran dan survei responden. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa media ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman audiens tentang investasi saham, menumbuhkan ketertarikan untuk belajar lebih lanjut, serta menyampaikan pesan bahwa investasi bukanlah bentuk perjudian. Dengan penyampaian pesan yang visual, naratif, dan representatif terhadap gaya hidup generasi muda, karya ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif media edukasi keuangan yang efektif dan relevan.
