Abstract

The existence of a hospital as an institution that provides health services often creates psychological and economic pressure for its consumers. So far, the general public is more familiar with the hospital as a place to treat with the image of the medical treatment that will be received through medical equipment. A good hospital certainly prioritizes the quality and quality of service to consumers. But besides that, the physical form and the interior also play a role in determining whether or not the consumer's assessment of the hospital is good. Currently, many hospitals have implemented a healing environment in hospital planning. Healing environment is a therapeutic environment design that combines natural, sensory and psychological elements. Natural elements can be felt through the senses. With the senses can help see, hear and feel the natural beauty that is designed. This indirectly affects the patient's psychology. Psychologically, patients will feel comfort and security in themselves. These three aspects are interrelated and influence the designed therapeutic environment. The research method used in this study is to use design research methods using the flow CHAPTER I Introduction, CHAPTER II Data Review, CHAPTER III Project Data Analysis, CHAPTER IV Planning Concepts, CHAPTER V Conclusions and Suggestions. This healing environment design is applied in the interior of the hospital. The problem limitation in this planning is found in lobby, outpatient waiting room, and inpatient (inpatient room). This planning was carried out with the aim of describing what healing environment design applications could be applied to the hospital interior. Keywords: Hospital, healing environment, Interior Design Keberadaan rumah sakit sebagai suatu lembaga yang menyediakan pelayanan jasa kesehatan sering kali menimbulkan tekanan psikologis dan ekonomi bagi konsumennya. Selama ini masyarakat awam lebih mengenal rumah sakit sebagai tempat mengobati dengan bayangan perlakuan medis yang akan diterima melalui peralatan kedokteran. Sebuah rumah sakit yang baik tentunya mengutamakan mutu dan kualitas dari pelayanan pada konsumen. Namun disamping itu, bentuk fisik dan interior juga berperan menentukan baik buruknya penilaian konsumen terhadap rumah sakit tersebut. Sekarang ini, sudah banyak rumah sakit yang menerapkan healing environment dalam perencanaan rumah sakit. Healing environment merupakan suatu desain lingkungan terapi yang memadukan antara unsur alam, indra dan psikologis. Unsur alam dapat dirasakan melalui indra. Dengan indra dapat membantu melihat, mendengar dan merasakan keindahan alam yang didesain. Hal tersebut secara tidak langsung mempengaruhi psikologis pasien. Secara psikologis, pasien akan merasakan kenyamanan dan keamanan dalam diri mereka. Ketiga aspek tersebut saling berhubungan dan mempengaruhi lingkungan terapi yang dirancang. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode penelitian desain dengan menggunakan alur BAB I Pendahuluan, BAB II Tinjauan Data, BAB III Analisa Data Proyek, BAB IV Konsep Perencanaan, BAB V Kesimpulan dan Saran. Desain healing environment ini diterapkan dalam interior Rumah rumah sakit. Batasan masalah dalam perencanaan ini terdapat dalam lobby, ruang tunggu rawat jalan, dan rawat inap (kamar rawat inap). Perencanaan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menjabarkan aplikasi healing environment design apa saja yang dapat diterapkan pada interior rumah sakit.
