Abstract

Optimal computer network performance is crucial in supporting the operational continuity of logistics companies, especially in export and import activities that heavily rely on stable data transmission. PT Abdi Kargo faces various network issues such as packet loss, delay, jitter, and low throughput, which hinder business efficiency. This study aims to implement bandwidth management methods using Simple Queue and Queue Tree on the MikroTik RB941-2nD device to improve network quality based on Quality of Service (QoS) parameters. Network performance was measured before and after configuration using the Wireshark application, with evaluation based on the TIPHON standard. The results show that the combination of Simple Queue and Queue Tree significantly reduces delay and jitter, stabilizes throughput, and eliminates packet loss. Moreover, the method successfully prioritizes bandwidth allocation for core computers with strategic roles in managing export-import data. Therefore, this approach proves effective in addressing network challenges in the logistics sector, particularly for small to medium-sized enterprises like PT Abdi Kargo. Performa jaringan komputer yang optimal merupakan aspek krusial dalam mendukung kelancaran operasional perusahaan logistik, khususnya dalam aktivitas ekspor dan impor yang sangat bergantung pada kestabilan transmisi data. PT Abdi Kargo menghadapi berbagai kendala jaringan seperti packet loss, delay, jitter, dan throughput rendah, yang menghambat efisiensi proses bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan metode manajemen bandwidth menggunakan Simple Queue dan Queue Tree pada perangkat MikroTik RB941- 2nD guna meningkatkan kualitas jaringan berdasarkan parameter Quality of Service (QoS). Pengukuran performa dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah konfigurasi menggunakan aplikasi Wireshark, dengan acuan standar TIPHON. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi Simple Queue dan Queue Tree mampu menurunkan nilai delay dan jitter secara signifikan, meningkatkan stabilitas throughput, serta menghilangkan packet loss. Selain itu, metode ini berhasil memprioritaskan bandwidth untuk komputer inti yang memiliki peran strategis dalam pengelolaan data ekspor-impor. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini terbukti efektif dalam menyelesaikan tantangan jaringan di sektor logistik, khususnya pada perusahaan berskala kecil hingga menengah seperti PT Abdi Kargo.
