Abstract
This study examines the development of Green Human Capital and Organizational Culture strategies to support corporate sustainability at PT Bundamedik Tbk. Using a qualitative approach, the study conducted in-depth interviews with five key informants in strategic roles: President Director, Chief Human Capital Officer, Hospital Director, Human Capital Head, and Public Relations Specialist. A thematic analysis explored insights on implementing sustainability within the company. Findings reveal the crucial role of Green Human Capital through strategies: (1) environmentally-oriented recruitment ensuring candidates possess sustainability awareness; (2) ongoing training emphasizing medical waste management, energy efficiency, and eco-friendly practices; (3) a green reward system to boost employee participation in green initiatives; and (4) active employee engagement via internal campaigns and recycling projects. Meanwhile, Organizational Culture supports sustainability by instilling pro-environmental values in the workplace, fostering transformational leadership as change agents, and maintaining effective internal communication to disseminate sustainability values. Green cultural programs, such as the Green Thursday campaign and efficient waste management, further reinforce these efforts. The synergy between Green Human Capital and Organizational Culture positively impacts operational efficiency, corporate reputation, and achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study concludes that integrating these strategies not only enhances PT Bundamedik Tbk’s sustainability performance but also serves as a strategic model for other companies. Additionally, the research enriches corporate sustainability theory and offers practical guidelines for developing green strategies across various industrial sectors. These findings are significant. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengembangan strategi Green Human Capital dan Organizational Culture untuk mendukung keberlanjutan korporasi di PT Bundamedik Tbk. Dengan metode kualitatif, penelitian melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan lima informan kunci yang menduduki posisi strategis, yakni President Director, Chief Human Capital Officer, Hospital Director, Human Capital Head, dan Public Relations Specialist. Pendekatan tematik digunakan untuk menganalisis data dan menggali wawasan mengenai implementasi keberlanjutan di perusahaan. Hasil penelitian mengungkap peran krusial Green Human Capital melalui beberapa strategi utama, yaitu: (1) Rekrutmen berorientasi lingkungan guna memastikan kandidat memiliki kesadaran keberlanjutan; (2) Pelatihan berkelanjutan yang menitikberatkan pengelolaan limbah medis, efisiensi energi, dan perilaku ramah lingkungan; (3) Penerapan sistem penghargaan hijau untuk memacu partisipasi karyawan dalam inisiatif ramah lingkungan; serta (4) Keterlibatan aktif karyawan melalui kampanye internal dan proyek daur ulang. Sementara itu, Organizational Culture mendukung keberlanjutan dengan menanamkan nilai pro-lingkungan dalam budaya kerja, mendorong kepemimpinan transformasional sebagai agen perubahan, serta menjalin komunikasi internal efektif untuk menyebarkan nilai keberlanjutan. Program budaya hijau, seperti kampanye Green Thursday dan pengelolaan limbah yang efisien, juga diperkuat. Sinergi antara Green Human Capital dan Organizational Culture berdampak positif terhadap efisiensi operasional, reputasi perusahaan, dan pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi kedua strategi ini tidak hanya meningkatkan performa keberlanjutan PT Bundamedik Tbk, tetapi juga dapat dijadikan model strategis yang relevan bagi perusahaan lain. Selain itu, penelitian ini menambah khazanah teori keberlanjutan korporasi sekaligus memberikan panduan praktis aplikatif yang berguna untuk pengembangan strategi hijau di berbagai sektor industri.
