Abstract
This study aims to examine the influence of work motivation, work environment, and certification ownership on teacher performance under the SMAIT AsySyukriyyah, Tangerang. A quantitative approach was used with a survey method involving 50 teachers as respondents through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and supported by secondary data from relevant literature. The analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS version 4 software. The results show that work motivation, work environment, and certification each have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. These findings indicate that teacher performance is influenced by internal factors such as motivation, as well as external factors like a conducive work environment and professional recognition through certification. The implications of this study can serve as a basis for policy formulation in improving teacher performance, particularly in private Islamic schools. Efforts such as enhancing motivation, creating a supportive work environment, and strengthening competence through certification programs are key strategies in developing the quality of human resources in the education sector. Keywords: work motivation, work environment, certification, teacher performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja, lingkungan kerja, dan kepemilikan sertifikasi terhadap kinerja guru di bawah SMAIT AsySyukriyyah, Tangerang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, melibatkan 50 guru sebagai responden melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan didukung data sekunder dari literatur relevan. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) melalui software SmartPLS versi 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja, lingkungan kerja, dan sertifikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kinerja guru dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal seperti motivasi, serta faktor eksternal seperti lingkungan kerja yang kondusif dan pengakuan profesional melalui sertifikasi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat dijadikan dasar untuk perumusan kebijakan dalam peningkatan kinerja guru, terutama di lingkungan sekolah Islam swasta. Upaya seperti meningkatkan motivasi, menciptakan suasana kerja yang mendukung, dan memperkuat kompetensi melalui program sertifikasi menjadi strategi utama dalam mengembangkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di bidang pendidikan.
