Abstract

Film is a tool in mass media to influence, build culture, education, entertainment and propaganda tools. Movies can also build the perception of the audience through the information and messages contained. Perception is the way individuals understand and interpret information received through their five senses, this includes the process of capturing, interpreting, and giving meaning to the sensory stimuli received. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the documentary NCT 127: The Lost Boys on the audience's perception of the struggle of NCT 127 members. This research method uses quantitative research methods. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with responden criteria, namely followers of the Tiktok @maudimo account, aged 18-30 years, female and male, and watching the documentary NCT 127: The Lost Boys. Then the number of samples obtained through the slovin formula is 100 people. This data analysis technique uses a Likert scale and is calculated using the SPSS program. Based on the results of this study, the determination result (R Square) is 0.667. The value of 0.667 or equivalent to 66.7%. The simple linear regression test obtained a constant of 6.898 which means that the consistent value of the NCT 127: The Lost Boys Film variable is 0.694 and if the NCT 127: The Lost Boys Film variable increases by one unit it will increase Audience Perception by 69.4%. The correlation test uses product moment correlation and the correlation value is obtained at a value of 0.816. Then, the significance value shows 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant influence on the NCT 127: The Lost Boys Movie on Audience Perception. So it can be concluded that NCT 127: The Lost Boys Movie has a positive influence on Audience Perception. Keywords: Documentary Film, NCT 127, Audience Perception, Mass Communication Film adalah alat dalam media massa untuk mempengaruhi, membangun budaya, edukasi, sarana hiburan maupun alat propaganda. Film juga dapat membangun persepsi para audiens melalui informasi dan pesan yang terkandung. Persepsi adalah cara individu memahami dan menginterpretasikan informasi yang diterima melalui panca indera mereka, hal ini mencakup proses menangkap, menginterpretasikan, dan memberikan makna pada rangsangan sensorik yang diterima. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh film dokumenter NCT 127: The Lost Boys terhadap persepsi penonton akan perjuangan member NCT 127. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan kriteria responden yaitu pengikut akun Tiktok @maudimo, berumur 18-30 tahun, perempuan dan laki-laki, serta menonton film dokumenter NCT 127: The Lost Boys. Lalu didapatkan jumlah sampel melalui rumus slovin yaitu 100 orang. Teknik analisis data ini menggunakan skala likert dan dihitung menggunakan program SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil determinasi (R Square) 0,667. Nilai 0,667 atau setara dengan 66,7%. Uji regresi linear sederhana didapatkan konstanta sebesar 6,898 yang mengandung arti bahwa nilai konsisten variabel Film NCT 127: The Lost Boys adalah 0,694 dan jika variabel Film NCT 127: The Lost Boys meningkat satu satuan maka akan meningkatkan Persepsi Penonton sebesar 69,4%. Uji korelasi menggunakan korelasi product moment dan didapatkan nilai korelasi berada pada nilai 0,816. Lalu, nilai signifikansi menunjukkan 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti adanya pengaruh yang signifikan pada Film NCT 127: The Lost Boys terhadap Persepi Penonton. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa Film NCT 127: The Lost Boys memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap Persepi Penonton. Kata Kunci: Film Dokumenter, NCT 127, Persepsi Penonton, Komunikasi Massa
