Abstract
Cyberbullying is a cruel act committed by someone to another person with the aim of hurting that person by making fun of or insulting them. Teenagers are also not immune to cyberbullying behavior caused by several factors, one of which is emotional maturity. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between emotional maturity and cyberbullying behavior in adolescents on social media. This study uses a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling method where the criteria have been determined according to the needs of the study. In this study, the determination of the sample was determined using G.Power 3.1 software with a sample size of 153 adolescents aged 10-20 years. The data analysis used in this study is Pearson-Product Moment. Based on the results obtained in this study, the variables of emotional maturity and cyberbullying behavior have a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, and Pearson Correlations of 0.392. This means that there is a significant positive relationship between emotional maturity and cyberbullying behavior in adolescents on social media. Keywords: Cyberbullying, Cyberbullying Behavior, Emotional Maturity Cyberbullying merupakan tindakan kejam yang dilakukan seseorang kepada orang lainnya yang tujuannya menyakiti orang tersebut dengan mengolok – olok atau menghina. Remaja juga tidak luput dari perilaku cyberbullying yang disebabkan beberapa faktor, salah satunya kematangan emosi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara kematangan emosi dengan perilaku cyberbullying pada remaja di media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode purposive sampling dimana kriteria telah ditentukan sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Pada penelitian ini penentuan sampel ditentukan menggunakan software G.Power 3.1 dengan jumlah sampel 153 remaja berusia 10 – 20 tahun. Analisis data yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah Pearson-Product Moment. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat pada penilitian ini variabel kematangan emosi dan perilaku cyberbullying memiliki nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05, dan dan Pearson Correlations sebesar 0.392. Artinya terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara kematangan emosi dengan perilaku cyberbullying remaja di media sosial. Kata Kunci : Cyberbullying, Perilaku Cyberbullying, Kematangan Emosi
