Abstract
Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) is a vital aspect in the construction industry, especially in the finishing stage which involves work with a high risk of accidents, such as the use of chemicals, work at heights, and narrow work areas. However, many workers assume that the implementation of OHS will only hinder productivity and will not provide direct benefits to them. As a result, workers often ignore established occupational safety procedures, such as the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or following safe work procedures. This study aims to analyze the effect of worker awareness on the implementation of OHS on the ABC Apartment project in Tangerang. With a quantitative approach, data were collected through field observations and questionnaires with 31 respondents and analyzed using a simple linear regression statistical analysis method. The results showed that worker awareness had a significant positive effect on the implementation of OHS, with a contribution of 53.5%, while 46.5% was influenced by other variables. The main factors influencing the implementation of OHS include knowledge of OHS, attitudes towards the implementation of OHS, compliance with work procedures, and work motivation. The dominant factor of worker awareness that most significantly influenced the Implementation of OHS on the ABC Apartment project, Tangerang was the work motivation factor. Keywords : Construction, Finishing, OHS, Worker Awareness Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) merupakan aspek vital dalam industri konstruksi, terutama pada tahap finishing yang melibatkan pekerjaan dengan risiko kecelakaan tinggi, seperti penggunaan bahan kimia, pekerjaan di ketinggian, dan area kerja yang sempit. Namun banyak pekerja yang menganggap bahwa penerapan K3 hanya akan menghambat produktivitas dan tidak memberikan manfaat langsung bagi mereka. Akibatnya, pekerja sering kali mengabaikan prosedur keselamatan kerja yang telah ditetapkan, seperti penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) yang sesuai atau mengikuti prosedur kerja yang aman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kesadaran pekerja terhadap implementasi K3 pada proyek Apartemen ABC di Tangerang. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan dan kuesioner dengan 31 responden dan dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran pekerja memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap implementasi K3, dengan kontribusi sebesar 53.5%, sedangkan 46.5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Faktor utama yang memengaruhi implementasi K3 meliputi pengetahuan tentang K3, sikap terhadap penerapan K3, kepatuhan terhadap prosedur kerja, dan motivasi kerja. Faktor dominan kesadaran pekerja yang paling mempengaruhi Implementasi K3 pada proyek Apartemen ABC, Tangerang secara signifikan adalah faktor motivasi kerja.
