Abstract

The foundation is one of the essential components in the construction of a substructure. It is used to support and transfer the load from the upper structure to the ground surface layer. Foundations can be categorized into shallow and deep foundations, which are used in construction depending on depth and their ability to bear the load of the upper structure.In this study, the author will analyze the comparison between two types of deep foundations, namely, pile foundations and bored piles, in terms of soil bearing capacity, settlement, lateral deflection, and liquefaction potential affecting the upper structure.The research results show that for bored piles at a depth of 40 m (2x3) using the Meyerhof method, the ultimate bearing capacity (Qu) obtained was 2148.5 tons/m², the allowable bearing capacity (Qg) was 10,623.8 tons/m², and the safety factor was 12.21. Using the Reese O’Neil method, Qu was found to be 1688 tons/m², Qg was 8346.81 tons/m², and the safety factor was 9.60. The elastic settlement value of a single pile was 88.88 mm, the consolidation settlement was 21.57 mm, and the total settlement was 110.45 mm. The maximum deflection observed was 0.29 mm, occurring at the 6th pile. In comparison, for pile foundations at a depth of 12 m (3x4) using the Meyerhof method, the Qu obtained was 130.94 tons/m², Qg was 1127 tons/m², and the safety factor was 1.64. Using the API 2 method, Qu was 134.51 tons/m², Qg was 1157.7 tons/m², and the safety factor was 1.69. The elastic settlement value of a single pile was 81.82 mm, the consolidation settlement was 218.73 mm, and the total settlement was 300.55 mm. The maximum deflection observed was 64.49 mm, occurring at the 12th pile. Furthermore, liquefaction only occurred at depths of 4-5 m and 5-6 m under a Richter scale magnitude of 9-9.5, while the soil at other depths remained stable and was not affected by liquefaction. Keywords : Bearing Capacity Analysis, Settlement, Lateral Deflection, Liquefaction Fondasi merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam suatu Pembangunan struktur bawah. Dimana digunakan untuk mampu menahan dan meneruskan beban dari beban struktur atas ke lapisan permukaan tanah pada fondasi. Dalam fondasi sendiri terdapat fondasi dangkal dan fondasi dalam yang digunakan dalam pembangungan yang dapat disebabkan oleh kedalaman maupun kemampuan fondasi dalam menahan beban struktur atas. Dimana dalam penelitian ini penulis akan menganalisis perbandingan antara dua fondasi dalam yaitu tiang pancang dan tiang bor terkait daya dukung tanah, penurunan, defleksi lateralnya dan potensi likuefaksi terhadap struktur atasnya. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan fondasi tiang bor pada kedalaman 40 m (2x3) dengan metode Meyerhof didapatkan Qu sebesar 2148.5 ton/m2, Qg sebesar 10623.8 ton/m2 dan safety faktor sebesar 12.21. Dan dengan metode Reese O’Neil didapatkan Qu sebesar 1688 ton/m2, Qg sebesar 8346.81 ton/m2 dan safety faktor sebesar 9.60. Kemudian didapatkan nilai penurunan elastik tanah tiang tunggal sebesar 88.88 mm, penurunan konsolidasi sebesar 21.57 mm dan total dari keseluruhan penurunan sebesar 110.45 mm. dan didapatkan nilai defleksi maksimum yang terjadi sebesar 0.29 mm yang terjadi pada pile ke 6. Dibandingkan dengan fondasi tiang pancang pada kedalaman 12 m (3x4) dengan metode meyerhof didapatkan Qu sebesar 130.94 ton/m2, Qg sebesar 1127 ton/m2 dan safety faktor sebesar 1.64. Dan dengan metode API 2 didapatkan Qu sebesar 134.51 ton/m2, Qg sebesar 1157.7 ton/m2 dan safety faktor sebesar 1.69. Kemudian didapatkan nilai penurunan elastik tanah tiang tunggal sebesar 81.82 mm, penurunan konsolidasi yang terjadi sebesar 218.73 mm dan total dari keseluruhan penurunan sebesar 300.55 mm. Dan didapatkan nilai defleksi maksimum yang terjadi sebesar 64.49 mm yang terjadi pada pile ke 12. Kemudian likuefaksi hanya terjadi pada kedalaman 4-5 m dan 5-6 m dengan Skala Richter 9- 9.5 SR sedangkan tanah pada kedalaman lain tidak mengalami likuefaksi atau aman dari terjadinya likuefaksi.
