Abstract
This study aims to examine the audience's experiences and behaviors in interactions with fans at NCT DREAM and NCT 127 concerts. As two K-pop groups with a large fan base and fanatics, both concerts became interesting social phenomena to analyze in the context of fan interaction dynamics. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods, where data is collected through in-depth interviews referring to consciousness or conscious experiences with fans attending concerts, direct observation during concerts, and in-depth interviews. and analysis of interactions and documentation recorded on post-konser social media. Researchers analyzed how the audience felt emotional experiences during the concert, as well as how they interacted with each other in that context. The results showed that the audience's experience at NCT DREAM and NCT 127 concerts was greatly influenced by the mutual feelings, shared identity, and collective emotions arising from the interaction of fellow fans. Fan behavior at the concert was not only limited to direct interactions such as sharing goods or information, but also reflected in non-verbal communications such as cheers, gestures, and facial expressions that represent strong emotional attachment. The study also found that fan behavior tends to lead to the formation of subcultures that strengthen social bonds within the fandom community, where fans feel they have a role in supporting and celebrating the success of their idol artists. The interaction between fans at the concert became a form of social space that brought together individuals of similar interest, and created a sense of solidarity and collective identity. The findings of this study provide a more in-depth understanding of how K-pop concerts are not only musical events, but also an arena for social relationship formation, emotional dynamics, and broader fandom cultural construction. This research is expected to contribute to the study of pop culture, fan behavior, and social interaction in the context of music concerts. Keywords : Phenomenology; NCT’s Concert Audience Experience; NCT’s Fan Behavior Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengalaman dan perilaku penonton dalam interaksi sesama penggemar pada konser NCT DREAM dan NCT 127. Sebagai dua grup Kpop yang memiliki basis penggemar yang besar dan fanatik, kedua konser tersebut menjadi fenomena sosial yang menarik untuk dianalisis dalam konteks dinamika interaksi penggemar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi, dimana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam yang mengacu kepada kesadaran atau pengalaman sadar dengan penggemar yang menghadiri konser, observasi langsung selama konser berlangsung, serta analisis terhadap interaksi dan dokumentasi yang tercatat di media sosial pasca-konser. Peneliti menganalisis bagaimana penonton merasakan pengalaman emosional selama konser, serta bagaimana mereka berinteraksi satu sama lain dalam konteks tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman penonton pada konser NCT DREAM dan NCT 127 sangat dipengaruhi oleh perasaan kebersamaan, identitas bersama, dan emosi kolektif yang muncul dari interaksi sesama penggemar. Perilaku penggemar dalam konser tersebut tidak hanya terbatas pada interaksi langsung seperti saling berbagi barang atau informasi, namun juga tercermin dalam komunikasi non-verbal seperti sorakan, gerakan bersama, dan ekspresi wajah yang menggambarkan keterikatan emosional yang kuat. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa perilaku penggemar cenderung mengarah pada pembentukan subkultur yang memperkuat ikatan sosial di dalam komunitas fandom, dimana penggemar merasa memiliki peran dalam mendukung dan merayakan kesuksesan artis idolanya. Interaksi antar penggemar di konser ini menjadi bentuk ruang sosial yang mempertemukan individu-individu dengan minat yang sama, dan menciptakan rasa solidaritas dan identitas kolektif. Temuan dari penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai bagaimana konser K-pop bukan hanya sekadar acara musik, tetapi juga menjadi arena pembentukan hubungan sosial, dinamika emosional, serta konstruksi budaya fandom yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada studi mengenai budaya pop, perilaku penggemar, dan interaksi sosial dalam konteks konser musik.
