Abstract

The design of visual branding for Siomay Batagor Mang Udin aims to address the issue of the lack of visual identity implementation for the brand. This visual branding creation serves as a solution to help the MSME Siomay Batagor Mang Udin maintain its existence and compete with other competitors through visual elements. The creative process applied, along with the Design Thinking method, supports the creation of visual elements and the selection of media used in the visual branding design of Siomay Batagor Mang Udin. The chosen design concept is minimalist or simple, adjusted to the target audience segmentation through the creation of a Graphic Standard Manual (GSM). The implementation is carried out through offline media, including the creation of a logo, packaging, posters, menu lists, aprons, x-banners, and booths, to provide a strong branding impression that aligns with the target audience of Siomay Batagor Mang Udin. Perancangan visual branding pada Siomay Batagor Mang Udin bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan terkait ketidakhadiran penerapan identitas visual pada brand tersebut. Pembuatan visual branding ini menjadi solusi untuk membantu UMKM Siomay Batagor Mang Udin dalam mempertahankan eksistensinya serta bersaing dengan kompetitor lainnya melalui elemen visual. Proses kreatif yang diterapkan, bersama dengan metode Design Thinking, mendukung pembuatan elemen visual dan pemilihan media yang digunakan dalam perancangan visual branding Siomay Batagor Mang Udin. Konsep desain yang dipilih adalah minimalis atau sederhana, disesuaikan dengan segmentasi target audiens melalui pembuatan Grafik Standar Manual (GSM). Implementasi dilakukan melalui media offline, termasuk pembuatan logo, kemasan, poster, daftar menu, apron, x-banner, booth, untuk memberikan kesan branding yang kuat dan sesuai dengan target audiens Siomay Batagor Mang Udin.
