Abstract

The Fine Arts Gallery is located in the TMII tourist area. The high interest in art in Jakarta has an impact on the increase in art events, especially in the field of Fine Arts Design. The rise in artistic activities is due to the high growth of design artists in forming communities and events. The Fine Arts Gallery is a space as a place to exhibit works of art that are presented in a communicative setting between visitors and art objects and make it a place to embody the artist's embodiment of the object of his art. Apart from that, in the art gallery area there is also space for visitors to learn to make works of art with the aim of increasing people's interest in art, there is also an outdoor temporary exhibition space that can be enjoyed. Apart from that, there is green open space in the area above the building and lots of green open space in the art gallery area. Contemporary architecture is a form of architectural work that is currently occurring. Contemporary architecture is developing due to the development of an era/time that demands change, changes in the form of architectural work. Contemporary architecture is experiencing development because it is influenced by the idea that architecture must be able to achieve goals and solutions for architecture today and in the future. Keywords: Fine Arts Gallery, Contemporary Architecture Galeri Seni Rupa yang terletak dikawasan wisata TMII, Tingginya minat terhadap seni di Jakarta berdampak pada meningkatnya event seni khususnya bidang Desain Seni Rupa. Maraknya kegiatan seni ini disebabkan oleh tingginya pertumbuhan seniman desain dalam membentuk komunitas dan event. Galeri Seni Rupa merupakan ruang sebagai wadah memamerkan suatu karya seni yang disajikan dalam tatanan komunikatif antara pengunjung dengan objek seni dan menjadikannya wadah sebagai wujud perwujudan seniman pada objek karya seninya. Selain itu pada area galeri seni juga terdapat ruang bagi pengunjung untuk belajar membuat karya seni yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat masyarakat terhadap seni, juga terdapat ruang pameran temporer outdoor yang dapat dinikmati. Selain itu, terdapat ruang terbuka hijau di area atas bangunan dan banyak ruang terbuka hijau di area galeri seni. Arsitektur kontemporer merupakan suatu bentuk karya arsitektur yang sedang terjadi di masa sekarang, Arsitektur kontemporer berkembang akibat perkembangan era/zaman yang menuntut terjadinya perubahan, perubahan dalam bentuk karya arsitektur. Arsitektur kontemporer mengalami perkembangan karena dipengaruhi oleh pemikiran bahwa arsitektur harus mampu memperoleh sasaran dan pemecahan bagi arsitektur hari ini dan masa yang akan datang. Kata Kunci : Galeri Seni Rupa, Arsitektur Kontemporer.
