Abstract
Film is an effective visual communication medium for conveying messages and emotions to the audience. In the production process, a director plays a crucial role in guiding all production elements to ensure that the story's vision can be realized effectively. One of the film projects to be adapted is titled "Wibu In Love," which tells the story of a student named Chiko who is obsessed with Japanese culture, especially Anime. This obsession hinders Chiko's ability to socialize and find a partner in the real world, until he meets a woman who changes his life. In this film, the technique of Screen Direction becomes the main focus of the director to create a clear storyline and engaging visuals. Proper screen direction helps the audience follow the movements and interactions of characters in a film more easily, making the viewing experience more immersive. Through the use of consistent visual direction, the audience can sense order in the visual narrative, which ultimately strengthens the delivery of messages and emotions in the film. In addition to Screen Direction, the element of Mise En Scène is also a crucial aspect in the production of the film "Wibu In Love." Mise En Scène encompasses all elements within the camera frame, including setting, lighting, costumes, and acting. With good management of those elements, the director can create strong and meaningful visuals. Mise En Scène not only helps emphasize the themes and atmosphere of the film, but also expresses the inner turmoil of the main character, Chiko, who struggles between his imaginative world and reality. In the end, the film "Wibu In Love" is expected to convey a message about the impact of excessive obsession with pop culture and the importance of balance between fantasy and reality. By wisely utilizing Screen Direction and Mise En Scène techniques, this film not only presents an engaging story but also offers a profound and memorable visual experience for the audience. Dalam proses pembuatannya, seorang sutradara memegang peran penting dalam mengarahkan segala elemen produksi agar visi cerita dapat diwujudkan dengan baik. Salah satu proyek film yang akan diangkat berjudul "Wibu In Love," yang menceritakan kisah seorang mahasiswa bernama Chiko yang terobsesi dengan budaya Jepang, terutama Anime. Obsesi ini menghambat kemampuan Chiko dalam bersosialisasi dan mencari pasangan di dunia nyata, hingga ia bertemu dengan seorang perempuan yang mengubah hidupnya. Dalam film ini, teknik Screen Direction menjadi fokus utama sutradara untuk menciptakan alur cerita yang jelas dan visual yang menarik. Screen Direction yang tepat membantu audiens mengikuti gerakan dan interaksi karakter di dalam film dengan lebih mudah, sehingga pengalaman menonton menjadi lebih mendalam. Melalui penggunaan arah pandangan yang konsisten, penonton dapat merasakan keteraturan dalam narasi visual, yang pada akhirnya memperkuat penyampaian pesan dan emosi dalam film. Selain Screen Direction, unsur Mise En Scène juga menjadi elemen krusial dalam penggarapan film "Wibu In Love." Mise En Scène mencakup semua elemen yang ada di dalam bingkai kamera, termasuk setting, pencahayaan, kostum, dan akting. Dengan pengelolaan yang baik terhadap elemen-elemen tersebut, sutradara dapat menciptakan visual yang kuat dan penuh makna. Mise En Scène tidak hanya membantu dalam penekanan tema dan suasana film, tetapi juga dalam mengekspresikan gejolak batin karakter utama, Chiko, yang berjuang antara dunia imajinasinya dan kenyataan. Pada akhirnya, film "Wibu In Love" diharapkan dapat menyampaikan pesan tentang dampak obsesi berlebihan terhadap budaya pop dan pentingnya keseimbangan antara fantasi dan realitas. Dengan pemanfaatan teknik Screen Direction dan Mise En Scène yang bijak, film ini tidak hanya menghadirkan cerita yang menarik, tetapi juga memberikan pengalaman visual yang mendalam dan berkesan bagi penonton.
