Abstract
This study aims to analyze the impact of workload and work environment on organizational commitment, with job satisfaction as a mediator. The population for this study consists of 35 teachers and staff. The sample was selected using a saturation sampling technique, which included all 35 teachers and staff. Data was collected through a survey using a questionnaire as the research instrument. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The study demonstrates that workload affects organizational commitment. The work environment has a positive impact on organizational commitment. Workload has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The work environment also positively and significantly influences job satisfaction. Additionally, workload positively and significantly affects organizational commitment. The work environment has a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction, in turn, has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Furthermore, job satisfaction effectively mediates the relationship between workload and organizational commitment, as well as between the work environment and organizational commitment. Keywords: Workloads, work environment, organizational commitmen, job satisfaction Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi pengaruh beban kerja dan lingkungan kerja dan dampaknya terhadap komitmen organisasional dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 35 guru dan staff SMP Hangtuah 2 Jakarta. Sampel yang diambil menggunakan Teknik sample jenuh sebanyak 35 guru dan staff. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey dengan instrument penelitian adalah kuisioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Penelitian ini Membuktikan bahwa Beban kerja berpengaruh terhadap komitmen organisasional. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasional. Beban kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Lingkungan kerja memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional. Selain itu, beban kerja juga mempengaruhi komitmen organisasional secara positif dan signifikan. Lingkungan kerja berdampak positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kepuasan kerja, pada gilirannya, memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional. Selain itu, kepuasan kerja secara efektif memediasi hubungan antara beban kerja dan komitmen organisasional, serta antara lingkungan kerja dan komitmen organisasional.
