Abstract
Documentary films are non-fiction films whose contents represent reality in the form of recorded images as they are without any manipulation. Because it is a reality, every scene taken is natural and spontaneous so it is difficult to manipulate. The director and team made a documentary film that tells how the SIS Tofu Factory was able to survive for decades amidst problems and negative responses from the community regarding liquid waste which was directly thrown into the river, Ahmad Jaelani as an entrepreneur of ornamental plants around the river where these ornamental plants come into contact directly with water mixed with waste, but according to Ahmad Jaelani this does not have a bad impact on the fertility of his plants. as well as processing fumes which are always a concern for local residents. The SIS Tofu Factory shows its good side in that they have handled waste and fumes from Tofu processing using wise procedures by making a chimney using a compressor which is directed directly towards the river so that it does not pollute the air around residential areas any more. As the only tofu factory processing center in this region. Film dokumenter merupakan film non fiksi yang isinya merepresentasikan sebuah realita berupa rekaman gambar apa adanya tanpa rekayasa. Karena merupakan sebuah realita, setiap adegan yang diambil bersifat alamiah dan spontan sehingga sulit untuk dimanipulasi. Sutradara dan tim membuat film dokumenter yang Menceritakan bagaimana Pabrik Tahu SIS ini dapat bertahan hingga puluhan tahun di tengah masalah dan tanggapan negatif masyarakat mengenai limbah cair yang langsung terbuang ke aliran sungai, Ahmad jaelani selaku pengusaha tanaman hias di sekitar sungai yang dimana tanaman hias ini bersentuhan langsung dengan air yang bercampur limbah, namun menurut Ahmad Jaelani hal ini tidak berdampak buruk bagi kesuburan tanaman nya. serta asap pengolahan nya yang selalu menjadi perhatian warga sekitar. Pabrik Tahu SIS memperlihatkan sisi baik nya bahwa limbah serta asap pengolahan Tahu telah mereka tangani dengan prosedur yang bijak dengan membuat cerobong asap menggunakan kompresor yang di arahkan langsung ke arah sungai sehingga tidak mencemari udara di sekitar pemukiman warga lagi. Sebagai sentra pengolahan pabrik tahu satu – satu nya di wilayah ini.
