Abstract

The Tofu Factory documentary film "Tahu" tells the story of a traditional tofu factory and the use of waste. In making the documentary film entitled Tahu Factory "Tahu" there were three process stages that the author went through, namely pre-production, production and post-production. In this applicable work, the author serves as an editor, where an editor's first step is to edit previously recorded images that are included in accordance with the script. After that, the editor applies effects and improves the color of the image so that the video looks attractive. The editor is also in charge of processing the sound, the author synchronizes the sound elements according to the high or low sound so that at the finishing stage the resulting video has perfect results both in terms of image and sound. The author applies the concept of continuity editing with the aim of creating a storyline that is in harmony with the others so that it can create continuity between scenes which can provide space for the audience to feel more comfortable. Film dokumenter Tahu Pabrik “Tahu” Menceritakan tentang sebuah pabrik tahu yang masih secara tradisional dan pemanfaatan limbah. Dalam pembuatan film dokumenter berjudul Tahu Pabrik “Tahu” terdapat tiga tahap proses yang dilalui penulis yakni pra produksi, produksi dan pasca produksi. Dalam karya aplikatif ini penulis bertugas sebagai editor dimana langkah pertama seorang editor yaitu menyunting gambar yang sudah direkam sebelumnya yang tercantum sesuai dengan naskah. Setelah itu editor memberikan efek dan memperbaiki warna pada gambar agar tampilan video menjadi menarik. Editor juga berugas dalam mengolah suara, pada elemen suara penulis melakukan singkronisasi suara sesuai dengan tinggi ataupun rendahnya suara agar pada tahap finishing video yang dihasilkan memiliki hasil yang sempurna baik dari segi gambar maupun suara. Penulis menerapkan konsep Contiunity editing dengan tujuan menciptakan sebuah alur cerita yang selaras dengan yang lainnya sehingga dapat menciptakan kesinambungan antara adegan yang dapat memberikan ruang bagi penonton supaya lebih nyaman.
