Abstract

Feature is a television program format or soft news that is packaged in depth and developed using a creative touch so that it will provide information and insight for the audience. Thus, this feature work has functions and benefits that can be taken by the audience as a comprehensive learning medium. This final application work conveys a message that explores the activities of the Wijaya Kusuma Women's Farmers Group. In addition, this program will revolve around the role of women in the agricultural sector, the activities they do as members of the Women's Farmers Group, how they utilize empty land and the challenges and obstacles they face while carrying out their profession as women farmers. In the process of making a feature work, a cameraman must have a level of sensitivity to the concept of the image taken in order to display interesting visuals so that the audience can enjoy the work and gain insight from the program being watched. There are three stages that must be carried out, namely, pre-production, production, and post-production. In addition, as a cameraman, he is also tasked with making a wishlist, preparing equipment that will be used in the production stage, and combining several shooting techniques that can bring the storyline to life. Thus, choosing the right shooting technique will make it easier for the audience to receive the message and information conveyed in the feature "Women Farmers Who Fight Never End" Feature merupakan suatu format acara televisi atau soft news yang dikemas secara mendalam dan dikembangkan dengan menggunakan sentuhan yang kreatif sehingga akan memberikan informasi dan wawasan bagi para penonton. Dengan demikian, karya feature ini memiliki fungsi dan manfaat yang dapat diambil oleh penonton sebagai media pembelajaran yang komperhensif. Karya tugas akhir aplikatif ini menyampaikan pesan yang mengeksplorasi tentang kegiatan Kelompok Wanita Tani Wijaya Kusuma. Selain itu, program ini akan berkisar pada peran wanita dalam sektor pertanian, kegiatan yang mereka lakukan sebagai anggota Kelompok Wanita Tani, bagaimana cara mereka memanfaatkan lahan kosong serta tantangan dan hambatan yang mereka hadapi selama menjalankan profesi sebagai wanita tani. Dalam proses pembuatan karya feature, seorang juru kamera harus mempunyai tingkat kepekaan terhadap konsep gambar yang diambil agar dapat menampilkan visual yang menarik sehingga khalayak dapat menikmati karya dan mendapatkan wawasan dari program yang ditonton. Ada tiga tahap yang harus dilakukan yaitu, pra-produksi, produksi, dan pasca-produksi. Selain itu, sebagai juru kamera juga bertugas untuk membuat wishlist, menyiapkan peralatan yang akan digunakan pada tahap produksi, dan mengkombinasikan beberapa teknik pengambilan gambar yang mampu untuk menghidupkan alur cerita. Dengan demikian, pemilihan teknik pengambilan gambar yang tepat akan memudahkan penonton untuk menerima pesan dan informasi yang disampaikan pada feature “Wanita Tani Pejuang Yang Tak Pernah Usai”
