Abstract
Penyelenggaraan pemilu di berbagai platform media sosial kerap digunakan penyelenggara maupun peserta pemilu menyosialisasikan informasi kepada masyarakat. kampanye di media sosial membuat masyarakat serta pemilih pemula yang menggunakan media sosial karna dapat dengan mudah melihat konten- konten terkait kampanye melalui media sosial instagram para kandidat. Pada akun instagram @gibran_rakabuming, yang merupakan akun resmi dari seorang kandidat cawapres dalam pemilu 2024, memiliki potensi untuk memengaruhi respon pemilih pemula serta masyarakat melalui kontenkonten yang disebarkan. Respon adalah kesan atau tanggapan setelah seseorang mengamati melalui aktifitas pengindraan sehingga terbentuknya sikap positive atau negatif Pengguna sosial media dapat memberikan respon serta menyalurkan aspirasi melalui akun sosial media, komunikator dapat membangun, komunikasi politik dengan para pendukungnya, membentuk opini publik dan sekaligus memobilisasi dukungan politik secara masif. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendalami pemahaman mengetahui respon followers pada konten kampanye cawapres 2024 pada feeds media sosial instagram @gibran_rakabuming. Konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, antara lain public relations, komunikasi politik, personal branding, respon, media sosial, instagram, sosial media sebagai alat kampanye politik, pencitraan tokoh dan computer mediated communication (CMC). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Konten kampanye yang diunggah Gibran Rakabuming di Instagram mendapat respon dari followernya menumbuhkan pola-pola respons, tren interaksi, dan dinamika opini publik. Bentuk respon positif pada citranya sebagai calon wakil presiden, hal ini ditunjukkan pemilih pemula mendukung gibran sebagai dengan memfollow akun instagram-nya @gibran_rakabuming, menyukai kontennya dan mempunyai penilaian positif. Response is an impression or response after someone observes through sensing activities so that a positive or negative attitude is formed Social media users can respond and channel aspirations through social media accounts, communicators can build political communication with their supporters, form public opinion and at the same time mobilize massive political support. By using descriptive qualitative methods, this research aims to explore the understanding of knowing the followers' responses to the 2024 vice presidential campaign content on the @gibran_rakabuming Instagram social media feeds. The concepts used in this research include public relations, political communication, personal branding, response, social media, Instagram, social media as a political campaign tool, character imaging and computer mediated communication (CMC). The results of this study show that the campaign content uploaded by Gibran Rakabuming on Instagram received a response from his followers to grow response patterns, interaction trends, and public opinion dynamics. The form of a positive response to his image as a vice presidential candidate, this is shown by novice voters supporting Gibran by following his Instagram account @gibran_rakabuming, liking his content and having a positive assessment. Rakabuming Raka represents a young figure in the eyes of followers
