Abstract

The study aims is to know that the natural ligting intensity and artificial lighting intensity at Perpustakaan Umum Kota Depok and its influence to the visual convenience of visitors Object in this study is library on level 2 at Perpustakaan Umum Kota Depok. Whitch is located at the komplek Walikota Depok, Jl Margonda Raya, Kota Depok The method used for collection data in this study is qualitative method and quantitatve. The qualitative method is used for questionnaires collected. The questionnaires collected by random and be analyzed through the validity test and the reability test. The quantitative metode is used for measure on the site by use of tools measurement (Lux meter) in 14 points natural ligting and artificial lighting. The result from this study is all the lighting distribution in thePerpustakaan lighting is in lighting). value of 714 Lux and the intensity value of natural and artificial 953 Lux. Thus the lighting at the Pepustakaan Umum Kota Depok has not met the lighting standard SNI 6197: 2011 (300 Lux). Bookcase area is the only zone that meets lighting standards with natural lighting experiments is 169 Lux intensity values according to Kepmenkes RI standards. No. 1405 / Menkes / SK / XI / 02. For visual comfort results only Bookcase area is felt comfortable by the respondent because the location of Bookcase area adjacent to the opening which is not too big so that makes the incoming light is not excessive. As for the other zones are still at the level of neutral and less comfortable. Keywords: Natural Lighting, Artificial Lighting, Visual Comfort, Library. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai intensitas cahaya alami maupun buatan pada Perpustakaan Umum Kota Depok serta untuk pengaruhnya terhadap tingkat kenyamanan visual pengunjung Perpustakaan Umum Kota Depok. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah ruang Perpustkaan di dalam gedung Perpustakaan Umum Kota Depok yang berada di komplek Walikota Depok, Jalan Margonda Raya, Kota Depok. Ruang Perpustakaan berada di lantai dua gedung. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Metode kualitati berupa pengumpulan hasil kuesioner dari beberapa responden secara acak kemudian dianalisa melalui uji validitas dan reabilitas. Sedangkan untuk metode kuantitatif dengan pengukuran langsung di lapangan menggunakan lux meter. yaitu pencahayaan buku, sofa baca, adalah seluruh pencahayaan pada ruang Perpustakaan Umum Kota Depok tidak merata dengan nilai ratarata intensitas pencahayaan terendah ada pada area sofa baca yaitu 29 Lux (pencahayaan alami) dan 185 Lux (pencahayaan alami dan buatan). Sedangkan nilai intensitas cahaya tertinggi ada pada area meja baca dengan nilai intensitas pencahayaan alami 714 Lux dan nilai intensitas penncahayaan alami dan buatan 953 Lux. Dengan demikian pencahayaan pada Perpustakaan Umum Kota Depok belum memenuhi standar pencahayaa SNI 6197:2011 (300 Lux). Area rak buku merupakan satu- satunya zona yang memenuhi sesuai standar Kepmenkes RI. No. 1405/Menkes/SK/XI/02. Untuk hasil kenyamanan visual hanya area rak buku yang dirasa nyaman oleh responden karena letak area rak buku yang berdekatan dengan bukaan yang tidak terlalu besar sehingga membuat cahaya yang masuk tidak berlebih. Sedangkan untuk area lainnya masih berada di tingkat netral dan kurang nyaman. Kata Kunci : Pencahayaa Alami, Pencahayaan Buatam, Kenyamanan Visual, Perpustakaan.
