Abstract

The increasing advancement of technology has elevated the global use of technology, with both positive and negative impacts on information security in the virtual world. Information security is susceptible to threats and unauthorized access through security loopholes in various online information platforms. One such vulnerability that facilitates criminal activities is the use of unofficial applications, offering enticing features to users. Commonly used applications include social chatting networks, especially modified versions like Instagram mod. Instagram mod provides features not available in the official version, particularly on the Android platform. However, the development of this application is not conducted officially, leading to uncertainties regarding the security of data and information disseminated through Instagram mod. Therefore, this research aims to provide a percentage value related to the awareness level of Instagram users, with the hope of offering insights into information security. The study focuses on a static analysis of security loopholes present in the Instagram mod application. Keywords: Instagram, Instagram Mod, Security, Information informasi di dunia maya. Keamanan informasi dapat terancam dan diakses oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab melalui celah keamanan pada berbagai media informasi online. Salah satu celah yang memungkinkan terjadinya tindak kejahatan adalah penggunaan aplikasi yang tidak resmi, yang menawarkan fitur menarik dan menggoda pengguna. Jenis aplikasi yang umum digunakan adalah jejaring sosial chatting, khususnya modifikasi Instagram. Instagram mod menawarkan fitur yang tidak tersedia dalam versi resmi, terutama pada platform Android. Namun, pengembangan aplikasi ini tidak dilakukan secara resmi, sehingga keamanan data dan informasi yang disebarkan melalui Instagram mod tidak dapat dijamin. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan persentase nilai terkait tingkat kewaspadaan pengguna Instagram, dengan harapan dapat memberikan pembelajaran terkait keamanan informasi. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada analisis statis terkait celah keamanan yang ada pada aplikasi Instagram mod. Kata kunci: Instagram,Instagram Mod,Keamanan,Informasi
