Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang mendeskripsikan bagaimana komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan ibu dan anak pengidap ostegenesis imperfecta sehari-hari di wilayah Jabodetabek melalui Studi Kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengalaman ibu dengan anak penderita Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan tentang komunikasi yang efektif dan edukatif antara ibu dan anak pengidap ostegenesis imperfecta. Jenis metode penelitian yang akan peneliti gunakan dalam metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Studi Kasus. Metode ini adalah suatu metode dalam meneliti status sekelompok manusia, suatu objek, suatu set kondisi, suatu sisitem pemikiran ataupun suatu kelas peristiwa pada masa sekarang. Tujuan dari penelitian deskriptif ini adalah untuk membuat deskriptif, gambaran atau lukisan secara sistematis, aktual dan akurat mengenai fakta-fakta, sifat-sifat serta hubungan antar fenomena yang diselidiki. Hasil penelitian yang didapat: a. Komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan ibu dan anak harus dalam suasana kondusif yang konstruktif, hal ini bisa didapat dari pengalaman dan pengetahuan sang bunda terhadap anaknya. Komunikasi yang dilakukan tidak harus dalam bentuk komunikasi verbal, komunikasi non verbal juga sangatlah penting untuk membangun komunikasi efektif diantara ibu dan anak b. Motivasi komunikasi sang ibu haruslah tetap dipertahankan dan ditingkatkan guna mendukung perkembangan tumbuh kembang sang anak dan dalam mempersiapkan kehidupan sang anak di masa-masa mendatang. c. Pemaknaan komunikasi antara antara ibu dan anak, dapat diperluas dan diperdalam dalam berbagai perspekstif baik dalam tinjauan agama, sosial maupun psikologis. This research is a qualitative research that describes how interpersonal communication carried out by mothers and children with ostegenesis imperfecta daily in the Jabodetabek area through Case Studies. This study aims to know and describe the experience of mothers with children with Osteogenesis Imperfecta. The results of the study are expected to increase knowledge about effective and educative communication between mothers and children with ostegenesis Imperfecta. The type of research method that researchers will use in this research method is the Case Study research method. This method is a method of examining the status of a group of people, an object, a set of conditions, a system of thought or a class of events in the present. The purpose of this descriptive research is to make descriptive, depictions or paintings systematically, actually and accurately about the facts, properties and relationships between the phenomena investigated. The results of the study obtained: a. Interpersonal communication carried out by mother and child must be in a constructive conducive atmosphere, this can be obtained from the experience and knowledge of the mother towards her child. Communication does not have to be in the form of verbal communication, non- verbal communication is also very important to build effective communication between mother and child. The mother's communication motivation must be maintained and improved to support the development of the child's growth and development and in preparing the child's life in the future. c. The meaning of communication between mother and child can be expanded and deepened in Various perspectives both in religious, social and psychological reviews.
