Abstract
In the construction of building structures, there are several iron parts that experience temporary bending to facilitate work processes such as formwork installation. This treatment is thought to have an impact on the tensile strength value of the reinforcing steel which is likely to cause damage to the reinforcing steel. This research aims to determine the effect of bending treatment which is then straightened again on reinforcing steel. The research method used was experimental testing and data collection to carry out calculation analysis and comparisons on test objects with variations in Reinforcing Steel N, Dia.60, Dia. 50, Dia.40, Dia.30, and Dia.20. Based on the test results and data analysis obtained, the average yield stress value is N = 469.68 MPa, Dia.60 = 469.3 MPa, Dia.50 = 447.6 MPa, Dia 40 = 447 MPa. The average value of ultimate stress is N = 641.3, Dia.60 = 637.52 MPa, Dia.50 = 607.1 MPa, Dia.40 = 605.72 MPa. The average strain value is N = 16.1, Dia.60 = 15.8, Dia.50 = 15.7, Dia.40 = 15.4. Meanwhile, the ultimate melting ratio values are N = 1.365, Dia.60 = 1.358, Dia.50 = 1.356, Dia.40 = 1.355. This shows that the values of yield stress, ultimate stress, strain and ultimate stress ratio in reinforcing steel decrease as the inner bending diameter decreases. Meanwhile, for bending Dia.30 and Dia.20 do not meet the bending capacity because they experience a breaking condition during the bending and straightening process again. Keywords: Bending Inside Diameter, Concrete Reinforcing Bars, Tensile Strenght Dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan struktur bangunan, terdapat beberapa bagian besi yang mengalami pembengkokkan sementara untuk memudahkan proses pekerjaan seperti pekerjaan pemasangan bekisting. Dari perlakuan tersebut diduga memiliki dampak terhadap nilai kuat tarik pada baja tulangan yang kemungkinan akan menyebabkan kerusakan pada baja tulangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari perlakuan pembengkokan yang kemudian diluruskan kembali terhadap baja tulangan. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan pengujian eksperimental dan pengumpulan data untuk dilakukan analisa perhitungan dan perbandingan pada benda uji dengan variasi Baja Tulangan N, Dia.60, Dia. 50, Dia.40, Dia.30, dan Dia.20. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dan analisis data yang didapatkan, nilai rata-rata tegangan leleh sebesar N = 469,68 MPa, Dia.60 = 469,3 MPa, Dia.50 = 447,6 MPa, Dia 40 = 447 MPa. Nilai rata-rata tegangan ultimit sebesar N = 641,3, Dia.60 = 637,52 MPa, Dia.50 = 607,1 MPa, Dia 40 = 605,72 MPa. Nilai rata-rata regangan sebesar N = 16,1, Dia.60 = 15,8, Dia.50 = 15,7, Dia 40 = 15,4. Sedangkan untuk nilai rasio leleh ultimit sebesar N = 1,365, Dia.60 = 1,358, Dia.50 = 1,356, Dia 40 = 1,355. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai tegangan leleh, tegangan ultimit, regangan, dan rasio tegangan ultimit pada baja tulangan mengalami penurunan seiring dengan mengecilnya diameter tekuk sisi dalam. Sedangkan untuk tekuk Dia.30 dan Dia.20 tidak memenuhi kapasitas pembengkokan karena mengalami kondisi putus ketika proses pembengkokan dan pelurusan kembali.
