Abstract

Mall of Indonesia, a leading shopping center in Jakarta, attracts numerous visitors annually. This study focuses on observing the increase in traffic during major events such as anime festivals at Mall of Indonesia. The aim is to understand the contribution of event management to visit interest. In the theoretical framework, this study integrates concepts from business communication theory, public relations, event management, and visit interest. These concepts are used to identify factors influencing visit interest, including how event management plays a role in creating engaging experiences for visitors and effectively promoting events. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative explanatory approach, which aims to explain the influence of JKT Anime Fest 2023 event management on visit interest at Mall of Indonesia. Through the use of questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents, data was collected to analyze the impact of the independent variable (JKT Anime Fest 2023 event management) on the dependent variable (visit interest). The data analysis results show a significant influence, amounting to 77%, of JKT Anime Fest 2023 event management on visit interest at Mall of Indonesia. Penelitian ini berfokus pada observasi peningkatan traffic saat acara besar seperti festival anime berlangsung di Mall of Indonesia. Tujuannya adalah memahami kontribusi manajemen acara terhadap minat kunjungan. Dalam kerangka teoritis, penelitian ini mengintegrasikan konsep-konsep dari teori komunikasi bisnis, public relations, event management, dan minat kunjungan. Konsep-konsep ini digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat kunjungan, termasuk bagaimana manajemen acara memainkan peran dalam menciptakan pengalaman yang menarik bagi pengunjung dan mempromosikan acara secara efektif. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan eksplanatif kuantitatif, yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh manajemen acara JKT Anime Fest 2023 terhadap minat kunjungan di Mall of Indonesia. Melalui penggunaan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 responden, data dikumpulkan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel independen (manajemen acara JKT Anime Fest 2023) terhadap variabel dependen (minat kunjungan). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan, sebesar 77%, dari manajemen acara JKT Anime Fest 2023 terhadap minat kunjungan di Mall of Indonesia.
