Abstract

Public Relations Strategy is crucial for enhancing brand awareness, which is the ability of potential buyers to recognize and recall a brand within a specific product category. However, when a company has not yet achieved its goals optimally, public relations strategy becomes key in competing and building brand awareness, as desired by Kopi Praja to establish a place in the hearts of the public. This research aims to assess the extent of the influence of public relations strategy in building brand awareness for Kopi Praja at Store Bintaro. The study adopts a quantitative approach with an explanatory research type. Sample selection utilizes Probability Simple Random Sampling and Slovin's formula, resulting in 100 respondents from a population of 1,799,376 individuals. Data collection employs a questionnaire, and data analysis includes coefficient of determination and simple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing involves ttests and F-tests. The findings reveal a significant relationship between Public Relations Strategy and Brand Awareness, supported by a very low significance level (0.000 < 0.05) and a high t-value (8.773 > 1.984), indicating a strong association between these variables. Additionally, Public Relations Strategy contributes 44% to the formation of Brand Awareness. Thus, Public Relations Strategy plays a vital role in establishing a strong brand awareness and expanding brand influence among consumers. Keyword: Strategi Public Relations, Brand Awareness, Kopi Praja Strategi Public Relations penting untuk meningkatkan brand awareness yang merupakan kemampuan calon pembeli mengenali dan mengingat merek dalam kategori produk tertentu. Namun, saat perusahaan belum mencapai tujuan dengan optimal, strategi public relations menjadi kunci dalam bersaing dan membangun brand awareness seperti yang diinginkan oleh Kopi Praja untuk mendapatkan tempat di hati masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Sejauh mana pengaruh strategi public relations dalam membangun brand awarness pada Kopi Praja di Store Bintaro. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tipe eksplanatif. Penentuan sampel menggunakan Teknik Probability Simple Sampling, yaitu Simple Random Sampling dan menggunakan rumus slovin didapatkan 100 responden dari populasi sebanyak 1.799.376 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis koefisien determinasi dan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Untuk uji hipotesis, menggunakan uji t dan uji f. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara Strategi Public Relations dalam membangun Brand Awareness, yang terbukti dari nilai signifikansi yang sangat rendah (0,000<0,05) serta nilai t yang tinggi (8,773>1,984), mengindikasikan hubungan yang kuat antara kedua variabel tersebut. Selain itu, Strategi Public Relations memberikan kontribusi sebesar 44% terhadap tingkat Brand Awareness yang terbentuk. Dengan demikian, Strategi Public Relations berperan penting dalam membangun kesadaran merek yang kuat dan memperluas pengaruh merek di kalangan konsumen.
