Abstract

Issues regarding women are always close and relevant from time to time. So it is not surprising that this issue was raised by one of the well-known YouTube channels, namely Narasi TV, through its content entitled It's Difficult to Be a Woman. There are two episodes, where the second episode was chosen because it contains pros and cons which will involve audience analysis in providing meaning. It has two research focuses, namely, how the female audience accepts the YouTube content of TV narratives, the difficulty of being a woman and how the audience interprets the YouTube content of TV narratives, the difficulty of being a woman in a dominant position, negotiation, and vice versa. This research aims to identify the female audience's acceptance of YouTube content with TV narratives, it's hard to be a woman and to find out the categories of meaning of female audiences towards YouTube content with TV narratives, it's hard to be a woman in a dominant, negotiating and oppositional position. Where this research is a type of reception analysis research with reference to the Stuart Hall reception theory. Qualitative type with a constructivist paradigm. With data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with ten informants. The research results show that there is a dynamic interaction between the coding process by the TV narrative as the content creator and the decoding process by the ten informants. In this case, it means showing informants not only as passive audiences but also as active in responding to the impressions they see. Furthermore, the research results also show that the negotiation position is much more dominant than the dominant positions of hegemony and opposition. This shows that most informants have a critical level of awareness of the message conveyed by the content. Wherever the informant looks more from one point of view in forming a meaning. Apart from that, the research results also show the diversity of understanding that emerged, showing that each informant has a perspective that is influenced by psychological conditions, individual social groups, and informal relationships between individuals. Keywords: Reception Analysis, Women, It's Difficult to Be a Woman, YouTube Isu mengenai perempuan selalu dekat dan relavan dari waktu kewaktu. Maka tak heran jika isu tersebut diangkat oleh salah satu chanel youtube ternama yaitu Narasi TV melalui kontennya dengan judul Susahnya Jadi Perempuan. Terdapat dua episode, dimana episode kedua dipilih karena mengandung pro kontra yang nantinya akan melibatkan analisis audiens dalam memberikan pemaknaan. Memiliki dua fokus penelitian yaitu, bagaimana proses penerimaaan khalayak perempuan terhadap konten youtube narasi tv susahnya jadi perempuan serta bagaimana pemaknaan khalayak terhadap konten youtube narasi tv susahnya jadi perempuan pada posisi dominan, negosiasi, dan oposisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penerimaaan khalayak perempuan terhadap konten youtube narasi tv susahnya jadi perempuan serta mengetahui kategori pemaknaan khalayak perempuan terhadap konten youtube narasi tv susahnya jadi perempuan pada posisi dominan, negosiasi, dan oposisi. Dimana penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian analisis resepsi dengan mengacu pada teori resepsi stuart hall. Berjenis kualitatif dengan paradigma konstruktivisme. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam terhadap sepuluh oarng informan. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat interaksi dinamis antara proses encoding oleh narasi tv sebagai pembuat konten dan proses decoding oleh sepuluh informan. Dalam hal ini berarti menunjukan informan bukan hanya sebagai khalayak pasif tapi juga aktif dalam merespon sebuah tayangan yang dilihat. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian juga menunjukan bahwa posisi negosiasi jauh lebuh dominan dibandingkan posisi dominan hegemony dan oposisi. Hal ini menunjukan mayoritas informan memiliki tingkat kesadaran yang kritis terhadap pesan yang disampaikan oleh konten. Dimana kesepuluh informan melihat lebih dari satu sudut pandang dalam membentuk sebuah pemaknaan. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukan keberagaman pemahaman yang muncul menunjukan bahwa setiap informan memiliki perspektif yang dipengaruhi oleh kondisi psikologis, kelompok sosial individu, serta hubungan informal antar individu.
