Abstract

The design of the KAI Corporate University MICE Building in Bandung applies a biophilic architecture approach to create an innovative and sustainable learning environment. Located at Jl. Laswi No.23, with a land area of 27,669 m2, this building serves as a modern training center for PT KAI employees. Biophilic elements in the architecture and building landscape aim to create a healthy, comfortable, and interconnected environment with the surrounding nature and between buildings, while maintaining the nickname of an urban forest in the planned building area. Key facilities include the MICE Building, meeting rooms, auditorium, multi-purpose areas, gallery, library, co-working space, restaurant, and rental space. With attention to building connectivity, comfort, and sustainability, this building is designed to be environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and have proper waste management. The dynamic learning and working environment is integrated with the latest technology and comfortable open spaces. With the principles of biophilic architecture, the KAI Corporate University is expected to become a dynamic, environmentally friendly, and inspiring learning center for employees and the general public, in line with innovative international standards. Keywords: biophilic architecture, MICE building, connectivity Perancangan Gedung MICE KAI Corporate University di Bandung menerapkan pendekatan arsitektur biophilic untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inovatif dan berkelanjutan. Terletak di Jl. Laswi No.23, dengan luas lahan 27.669 m2, bangunan ini menjadi pusat pelatihan modern bagi karyawan PT KAI. Elemen biophilic dalam arsitektur dan lanskap gedung bertujuan menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat, nyaman, dan terhubung dengan alam sekitar serta antar gedung, dengan mempertahankan julukan urban forest di lahan yang akan direncanakan menjadi bangunan. Fasilitas utama termasuk Gedung MICE, ruang rapat, auditorium, multi-purpose, galeri, perpustakaan, co-working, restaurant, dan ruang sewa. Dengan perhatian pada konektivitas gedung, kenyamanan, dan keberlanjutan, bangunan ini dirancang sebagai lingkungan yang ramah lingkungan, efisien energi, dan memiliki manajemen limbah yang baik. Lingkungan belajar dan bekerja yang dinamis diintegrasikan dengan teknologi terkini dan ruang terbuka yang nyaman. Dengan prinsip-prinsip arsitektur biophilic, KAI Corporate University diharapkan menjadi pusat pembelajaran yang dinamis, ramah lingkungan, dan inspiratif bagi karyawan dan masyarakat umum, sesuai dengan standar internasional yang inovatif.
